Fugaku noted the Hyuuga that came through the door. They all looked unfortunately alike, really. Fugaku wasn't really friendly with the Hyuuga on principle, but avoiding the impression of snubbing people in other clans was always a good idea, so he returned the civil nod and went back to watching the rain.
The kitten did not. It was so intent on something it hard started purring. Fugaku looked down at it and found it was staring intently across the room at the Hyuuga. Fugaku glanced at the Hyuuga, and found nothing amiss. It was the most alert Fugaku had seen the ball of fluff since it had been sold to him.
Fugaku glanced at the other kitten, but it had vanished. Fugaku looked around, hopefully discretely, and found it was indeed gone. No trace of foot prints or anything.
For her part, the kitten was wending her way through the forest of legs, feet and tables, until she saw an interesting motion. Dripping water. With all the fury and claws of a small hunter, she pounced for them.
