At hearing the assessment she just sighed, slumping forward and resting her arms on her knees. He was right, again, and she knew it. She didn't want to admit it, but she wouldn't be half as valuable to Konoha without her dota... That was why there was such a big fuss over her in the first place.

"... My parents died so I could have a choice on how to live my life, regardless of the dota. Yeah, Konoha probably is happy that I chose to become a shinobi, but it was still that -- a choice. The council might have tried to push this life on me but the Hokages weren't going to allow it without my consent. That's the important part to me."

She didn't want to say it, but the implication was there -- she wouldn't have had that choice if she remained in Kirigakure. Though she might have picked the life regardless, that it was her own decision really drove the point home to her. Maybe this guy wouldn't understand it, but even shark guy had to respect it a little right?

After a few moments she frowned, squinting here eyes at him as she tried to figure it out. How many people did she know with blue skin like that? The gears were finally starting to turn, and she tilted her head a bit.
