Ami entered the teashop with a basket of her own, filled with sewing supplies her aunt had sent her out for as an errand, as Team Shisui's training for the day had been cancelled due to the weather. It dwarfed her small frame, making her look even tinier than she usually did. The shopkeeper had given her a plastic bag to wrap her purchases in, thankfully, but Ami would just as soon wait it out rather than run back home. Especially because she wouldn't be the only one getting wet.
She saw the crest before she really nitced the nice bubble of solitude enveloping Fugaku, and for a moment she just stopped, shrinking into her high collar and all but hiding behind the basket. She was torn between her long-held admiration for the Uchiha clan as a whole and her natural aversion to social interaction as a whole. Eventually, her choice was made and she approached him.
"Excuse me, Uchiha-san," she murmured, ducking her head in a low bow and—totally by chance, of course—hiding shyly behind a wet, long curtain of blonde hair. "May I take that seat?" A ripple in her dress made her jolt, before a small calico head popped out of her collar to stare at him curiously. Ami bit her lip, hoping that the cat would draw attention away from the way her ears reddened in embarrassment. "...may we take that seat?"
