Fugaku watched the truly tiny girl approach, dwarfed into looking even smaller by her burden. Fugaku did have a soft spot for well behaved children. Or maybe it was for well behaved people in general. When they weren't psychopaths, they were generally more considerate of others, therefore easier to deal with. Or he was a stickler for rules and propriety and just liked manners.

Fugaku didn't quite smile as the calico kitten popped out of the girl's collar, but his lips curled just a little at the corners. Even he acknowledged that was cute. "No one else is sitting there, if you want it." Fugaku couldn't move over to make more room, but he motioned to the spot on the bench next to him.
