He sheathed his sword with a delicious shhhnk of blade on leather, and smirked at the decimation he'd left behind. The match had been a fast one, and his only regret was that it hadn't lasted long enough for him to truly bask in the feeling, to let the weight and might of the blade settle and strain his muscles, to give it the respect that was due and the exposure it deserved.
He found this predicament increasingly common as the months edged by. Mangetsu was busy fulfilling his goal, and though Suigetsu was at least a little happy for him, he couldn't help but wonder why his opportunity wasn't rearing it's head despite his obvious capability. He was also quietly bummed that their agreement had been to join together, a fact which his older brother seemed to have conveniently forgotten.. but that was another story.
