There was something of an odd swell at Gaara's initial words and it seemed to gain some volume with that nod. Not pride, but something else, something kind of... warm? Enough to bring something of a smile to her face that Kazue herself didn't wholly realize at that moment, which honestly seemed to be happening increasingly often where Gaara was concerned. Takkun, on the other hand, became much more energetic for it and was rather quick to abandon the male scorpion once the pyramid had settled over it. He was quicker to move to skid to a stop in front of Gaara, his tail giving the sand beneath it a good thwack as he raised his arms up.
Up, up. Pick him up. Come on, you know he want to. Look at him. He's fierce and adorable and just look at how happy he is to see you!
"It is," Kazue replied, moving to apply the seal to the male scorpion. Once it was fixed, she offered him a nod, the ghost of that smile lingering. "I was hoping to put some work in toward a new agent I've been working on."
Something stronger, but more subtle, deadly. With the male scorpion sealed, she straightened and reached for a particular scroll at her back. Big as he was and with a design in support, Socchan'd be better suited for containment and transportation in this case.
