He had one day off in between missions. That was the thought that passed through his head as he crossed through the gate back into Konoha. The more missions he took then the less the Hokage bothered him about getting his own set of genin to teach. It might mean that he has less days off to relax but at the moment it was exactly what he needed. Nearly four years had passed since that mission. Better to be occupied than sitting around with time to think about it.

Habit nearly took him to the hospital but after a moment he headed towards the Hokage's office. Kakashi's pace is unhurried as he shifted his travel pack away from the bruise he'd received.
