She takes comfort in that too. That knowledge, that above all else, the tribe was a unit and would protect each other. Just as she took comfort in knowing she would do everything in her power to keep the rest of her comrades alive. She wasn't sure watching another die was something she could handle and still keep moving like before. Especially when she was far closer to those left than she ever was to Jinana. But they had been...kindred spirits in their short time as comrades and that had been enough to make it terrible when she had died...when they had struck the finishing blow as she succumbed to the hunger.

She sighs, eyes closing as she breathes in slow and deep. The air smells different here on the beach than it does in the ruins. Cleaner, she finds that preferable. It's a fact that never ceases to relax her, as long as they have Gale, they'll be safe and able to stand against whatever these shinobi threw at them.
