"Then the only conclusion I can come to is that, at the least, you know something about it," Her voice was hushed when she spoke it, careful to avoid the chef overhearing her as she returned her gaze to the bowl. It felt tense suddenly, at least for her - she was risking a lot by speaking how she was, but now she was really suspicious of him since he chose then to wear that expression again. It got her imagination going, but maybe it wasn't her imagination - maybe it was her piecing everything together.
