Naoto picks up the words and suddenly she's far more curious than defensive. If he had come here wondering if something was true, that something likely being the rebuilding of Uzushio, could he be one of the older generation that knew old Uzushio? All Naoto has of it is vague memories of her parents' stories, before a difficult mission in Iwa got them both killed. She's much too young to have even been born there, and sometimes she regrets her youth.

In response to the second statement Naoto looks away, not sure how to answer. One one hand, it is a noble thing, but would acknowledging that seem arrogant? She wishes to be seen as tough and strong, of course, but not arrogant.
