Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Not going to happen.

Obito, who had actually taken the time out of his far far too busy schedule, had actually put in the effort to see how his second favorite medic was doing... only to find her passed out in a side room of a cafe on one of the couches.

It seems that being away from Konoha again hadn't dome her any favors. Crouching, but staying out of arm's reach, he spoke in a soft singsong. "Tsunade-hime~ Sleeping there can't be good for the cafe owner's health."

With most people who attempted to wake her, flailing in the direction of the problem seemed to solve it eventually. Not so with anyone who called her "princess".

You see, there were three people living who called her princess. Jiraiya, who would eventually leer enough that she could feel it prickling her skin, Orochimaru, and Obito, who would poke at her until she woke up. He'd even found out the right tactics to avoid being pulverized into dust, the little brat.

"Ungh," Tsunade groaned. Despite her protest, she felt good. It was a rare morning she woke without being incredibly aware of what she did the night before. She sat up, leaning back on the couch with a heavy, put-upon sigh. "What do you want, kid?"

What a greeting. Over four years without seeing her and the first words were asking what he wanted? It was enough to make Obito pout, even as he pushed to his feet, white coat swirling around him. "Well if you're going to be like that then I'll just go."

He wouldn't actually go of course, but the drama would draw her eyes to the fact that the man who never abandoned his orange was wearing Hokage colors instead. The hat he'd wisely left at home. It wasn't really something that was meant for jaunts around the countryside.

"Nope," Tsunade grunted, standing and pulling Obito into a rough hug. "If you think you're getting away that easy, you've been smoking that funny stuff."

Truth be told, she was ~~glad to see him~~ okay with him being there. It wasn't like she had come into Konoha to see how he was handling his hokage-dom, or anything, she just... happened to be in Fire Country. That's it.

He knew better than to fight the hug... if he'd even wanted to. He happened to be fond of hugs, so he just hugged her back, letting the pout leave his face as a small smile replaced it. "You know I don't smoke Tsunade-hime! I wouldn't want to spoil your work you know!"

He tilted his head to look at her face though as he leaned back from the hug. "Still, sleeping on a couch?"

Tsunade shook her head, stepping back. "It must have looked comfortable last night." She neither said nor needed to say that there were few places that she needed to be on her guard while sleeping.

"So," she clapped him on the back, straightening her haori and rolling her shoulders. "Show me what you've done with the place."

He immediately bounced on his heels, excited to actually show her well... whatever he could show her from here. Unless he could get her to come with him for a visit anyway, because that would be absolutely excellent.

"Well, there's been new decoration." He closed an eye and tilted his head. "No goggles though, what since I don't wear them much these days it wouldn't be terribly iconic right?"

He shook his head after a beat, the playfulness settling into simple happiness. "But if you come back for a visit I can show you around, fill you in on the little changes. It's kind of hard to think of where to start just talking."

His happiness was surprisingly contagious, try as though she might to shake it off. She'd only fixed him as a favor to Minato and Sensei, but somewhere over the years she'd become fond of the perpetually-upbeat Uchiha.

(Wouldn't the elders be rolling in their graves if they knew?)

"Alright," Tsunade nodded, "but drinks are on you, tonight." She smirked, daring him to say no.

If anything, his smile turned more brilliant, and he offered her his hand, bowing just the slightest bit. "Then if I may escort the lovely Tsunade-hime back to the village?"

"Careful," Tsunade laughed, taking his hand. "You keep up like that, and you'll make the village explode. It was never meant to withstand the horror of the strongest Uchiha winning the heart of the last Senju."

He helped her to his feet, but didn't release her hand, tucking it into the crook of his arm instead. There was a touch of pink on his cheeks at her words, but he just grinned.

"I always thought the village could use a little excitement from time to time, I don't mind if you don't."

Tsunade threw her head back and laughed, loudly and without a single concern for what any passers-by might think. "You know, if I thought you could keep up with me, I might take you up on that."

She gave him a sly look. "After all, you wouldn't be the first Uchiha I got alone behind closed doors."

Okay, so that tinge of pink was trying to turn into an honest blush, though he was impressively keeping his composure. It wasn't a skill he'd had as a kid, that was for sure. "Now Tsunade-hime, I'm pretty sure I didn't mean to go quite that far."
