"Yes, yes," Yuichi agreed casually, inwardly gibbering her agreement. "You can goad me all you like, I'm not coming down if you're going to be all...alpha male-y like that." Then she discretely pricked her thumb, pressed it to a special spot on the handle of her broom, and rolled off the tree bough in an apparent contradiction to her own words.
At least until it became apparent that she was not falling at all, and instead faintly bobbing in the air on her broomstick.
This was a trick Yuichi was especially fond of, though the mechanics behind it were a little laborious to lah down. It worked on a system of false magnetism between the broom and the ground of a specifically marked out territory—in this case, her forest. The broom's seals fostered a relationship of 'like' polarity between it and the marked territory, and a set limit of how close the two could be.
It wasn't 'flying' so much as it was 'repulsion with style' but Yuichi was damn proud of it either way. She took another puff of her pipe and draped herself across the broomstick, one foot lazily tucked under her other knee for balance. "So, what do you want with this forest then?"
