Itachi waited patiently for Hayate to get out what he wanted to say. At least Hayate didn't stutter anymore. Itachi suppressed a smile at the request. He bowed on reflex.

"I would be honored to share tea with you at your earliest convenience, Hayate-san." Itachi straightened and motioned to the paperwork. "I've got paper duty this week, so I'll be in Konoha for the next few days."
