Hayate returned the bow more deeply. "I will be honored by your presence, Itachi-san," he said, the formal phrase falling easily from his lips. He straightened, and pressed a hand to his ribs with a grimace. "Perhaps Two days from now? At Ippodo's?"
It was a pleasant little cafe and old, but well within Hayate's budget. Even so, a little splurging on an old friend was nothing he couldn't afford. Friends were valuable, and Itachi? Hayate liked him for himself, not what clan he was born to nor what political power he wielded.
