+1 Land of Ice Daimyo To Be
Hi, Sunbeams! Kana here with character number three, who I've already been posting with! Whoops! And no, it's not that guy from K Project. That's just the PB I have to settle for right now because I don't have a hundred to drop on commissioned icons right now. Soon, though!
So, this guy! He's an original of mine that I ported over from his verse because hey, why not? His actual name is Arashi Yamaru, but if your character knows him or of him, they'd know him by the name Kirigi Yamata. For all intents and purposes, he appears to be a ronin if you're udging by the katana and Iron-style wakizashi ever visible on his person alongside the traveler's clothes and giant conical straw hat. In actuality, he's the long thought dead heir to the lordship of the Land of Ice, who's mother took refuge in Iron following the coup that saw the royal family slaughtered. Said pragmatic Mama Arashi also switched up the family name as a protective measure. As such, Yamata trained in Iron as a samurai's apprentice until he was eighteen, at which point which he left instead of swearing fealty to a lord of Iron given his plans to retake his country from the people who ousted his family and was joined by his sister, a reluctant allowance.
For the past five years, Yamata and his sister Kouran have been traveling and making preparations to retake their country and see it thrive. They've been working to discern the fate of the Kuzuryu clan (the Arashi clan's closest and most personal retainers) with the goal of bringing any remnants of it to their rightful place at their side, collect the Kuzuryu summon, collect and establish a wide information network, observe other governments, and gather allies and the like. As such, they are at varying stages of development with this and are nearly ready to make their move.
Oh, and I forgot to mention they had an ancestor that basically engineered their bloodline, the aforementioned summon, and a key as proofs of divinity for that family, which has traditionally ruled Ice and been lauded as... well, divinity. Details, details! You can read up HERE for a better picture because you guys know that I suck at being concise. Have I mentioned he's kind of a rough personality? Bit arrogant? Can back it up, but still? Again, details!
As he and his sister have been traveling for the past five years, there is lots of room for backstory, especially considering they've worked to positive PR in various lands and gather allies both immediate and potential and are still doing that at the moment. That said, I want all your CR and will be seeking it as I get more and more organized, but don't be afraid to come at me before then!
