Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. [ He misses his parents whenever he's away on missions for even a day, so his sulking is mostly for the sake of façade, and he's almost certain she knows as much. His father has the surprising capability of being very embarrassing - often by accident - and Naruto can only let himself to endure so much before he needs space. His father fussing at him in the middle of incredibly public places does nothing for his reputation. Come on, Minato. He's a teen now.

The hug doesn't surprise him, but he looks up from his noodle making to settle back into the contact of his mother against his back. Ah... that's way better. ]

C'mon, Mom... [ His words are quiet, soft, and he lets out a gentle chuckle. ] You're embarrassin' me... [ He shifts his shoulder a little in the vague attempt of shrugging her off, but there's no real intent or effort behind it. ]

Woah, nice! I'm jealous! You guys better save a couple of missions like that for me when I get home, okay? [ At least they'd come out the other side of them unharmed. Or so he assumed. He'd be told if anything had gone wrong, surely...

At the mention of Sasuke and his flighty behavior, Naruto pulls a face. ] Bah.. Wonder what's got him so worked up. Is everythin' okay with his clan? [ Naruto, you're on a team with members of two big clans, don't be rude. ] Oh, and yours?

Hoo boy, she saw cabbage guy again. That guy had never forgiven her for that time she accidentally landed on the cart and tipped it over. Almost instinctively she moved to get out of the man's line of site, lest she be glared at or yelled at again --

Only to bump into tall, blond, and bulky (compared to her) so that she'd fall back. Just what she got for not paying attention to anything but cabbage guy.

"Sorry," The apology was quickly mumbled before she got to her feet, dusting off her butt (where most of the dirt had ended up, damn it) before making to just get on her way. No need to let herself get caught by that stupid vendor while she was there...

Naruto-kun! No one wishes for missions like that except you. [Or maybe he wouldn't. He apparently had been told about her near miss on the last B- turned S-rank mission.

All she can do though is shrug, her facial expression neutral.] I think everything is well in the Uchiha. And things are decent in Hyuuga as well. [Lies, complete and utter lies.]

[She takes his lack of fight as a sign to tighten her hold a little, refusing to let him go just yet. And it's because of his lack of effort that she doesn't raise her voice or fist to him.

Yet.] Don't be stupid, y'know. What's to be embarrassed about when there's no one but us here? [Perfectly reasonable logic to justify why she doesn't want to let go of her precious baby boy just yet.]
