It's been months it seems since she'd last seen or even spoken to Shisui. Actually, if she stopped to take an accurate count it's probably been closer to a year. Not since their fail-date. She'd noticed of course, but she tried not to let it bother her. Tried not to take it personally, people came and went all the time, and while she'd thought that maybe they could have developed a friendship maybe the lack of further communication was meant to indicate he didn't feel the same. Or maybe he'd just gotten caught up in missions. Anything was possible.
So when she saw Shisui approaching her as she was walking on one of the few opportunities she got to wander, Hinata took a deep breath to calm the nerves trying to climb up her spine. He was just a person, a fellow shinobi of the village, saying hello would not be out of place. As she got closer she waved, a warm smile on her face. "Ah hello Shisui-san."
