Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. The chakra network moved, and Neji's hopes that the figure would remain idle and unobtrusive were dashed. Even more by the simple fact that this was an attack, and the puppeteer was likely a missing-nin. That or this was a grave misunderstanding, but holding out for the latter tended to get people killed.

The next several seconds were made up of things he'd never seen before. First of course, was a puppeteer inside a puppet, manipulating it from within, the next was using said puppet to summon another puppet- a puppet that had a faint sense of chakra that for a moment, almost made him wonder if she was alive.

If she was, it was in a manner no one wanted to live, and both his estimation and dislike for this mysterious puppeteer rose. He didn't know how the shinobi had pulled this off, but it wasn't a typical puppet.

He could save those thoughts for later however, as chakra briefly circled him, then rose up in a solid barrier around him. An interesting jutsu he'd have to look into later, but for now he didn't stop running, ran straight for the section of wall in front of him and slammed his palm against it, shattering through with a heavy burst of Hakke Kuushou.

His eyes looked from the puppet to its Master above, and he directed another wave of chakra toward the chakra strings connecting both in an effort to disrupt and sever the link between them.

That technique... A Hyuuga. His mysterious runner was a Hyuuga.

Pleasure and anticipation rode warm in Sasori's mind, and his determination increased. He'd long coveted the Hyuuga techniques, but capturing one suitable to be made into a puppet was a difficult proposition indeed. He would have to be very careful to take this one as intact as possible.

The puppet darted away from the chakra blast, and more chakra spread out from her to the earth beneath, spreading the grains of sand beneath Neji's feet, creating a mire instead of a firm surface to trap him and slow him down. There was no reason for the puppet to close, not with someone trained in exquisite forms of hand-to-hand combat. Rather, Sasori would wear him out, would make him fight against not only the puppet but the desert as well.

< I>She was nearly tireless, and had no need of the uncertain and chancy environment to support her. On puppet strings, she could fly. This Hyuuga was not so fortunate.

It would've spelled disaster for him if he'd been limited to his usual arsenal of strictly Hyuuga techniques. He had nothing that could easily combat this quicksand-like substance sinking beneath his feet and making every step a chore. But ANBU had forced him to pick up new skills and though his alternative fighting style was far from complete..

His primary element was also Earth.

Neji stopped and his fingers came together in a chain of seals. Earth rose up from underneath his feet just enough to escape the mired sands, and he jumped off safely beyond where the puppet's chakra was circulating.

He had a new purpose for the defensive technique he'd intended to use for himself earlier.

Taking a leaflet out of the other nin's book, Neji formed another short set of seals and slammed his palms into the sand, earth rising up in two halves to trap the puppet within a solid dome prison.
