Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

"I didn't run!" Yuichi practically wailed, popping to a tree further into the forest almost seamlessly. "I didn't! You—you—you ,i>lunged at me first!" And cut her broom. She had others at home, but that one had been nice and theatrical.

"You're running now." He moved after her, practically vanishing before appearing near her, keeping an eye on her in case she tried to hit him with anything herself. He wasn't as slow as he used to be.

"You made me!" She accused between soft puffs and pops. "I'll stop when you stop!" Or, given even the slightest opening, she would stop him and hopefully not get stabbed.

"You wouldn't come down." It was a simple statement, and he circled the tree she was currently in. "So come down now."

"Why would this have made me any more inclined to come down?!" Her chest heaved, more from adrenaline than any type of exhaustion. Her reserves were substantial after all. "You cut my broom in half! With a sword that's bigger than me!"

"And last time we saw each other you rather abused your position. I feel this is more than fair. Don't you?" He circled the tree again, never glancing away from her.

"I had never even met you before today, so I have no idea what you're talking about!" She inched back until she was pressed firmly against the trunk.

"You mention me directly, so you can't say you don't remember me. I look like no others."

"Like I'm supposed to believe that you're Sei-chan?" She found a scrap of courage and wasted it on rolling her eyes.

"No. I'm Sephiroth. If that's too difficult for you to recall is hardly a concern of mine."

"That's probably a clan name. Puberty can only do so much, and that kid was smaller than me."

He narrowed his eyes at her, hands doing a hand seal. "I am the only Sephiroth, and he disavows all clan who try to make a claim. Now. Try. Again."

"I don't like this game." Third person was a bad sign, right? It sounded bad. Worrying. Badly worrying. "Can't I just...quit and go home?"

"Then perhaps you should stop attempting to make a game of it, mm?" He came to a halt under her, waiting.

"Well, the alternative is taking you seriously." She tugged at her brim. "And if I do that, thenyou'll get even more serious. And really, you seem like a man who could use less seriousness in his life. Maybe specifically at this moment, even!"

"Just like you refuse to admit I am who I am mm? Which is getting you... where exactly?"

"Stalked through a forest, apparently." Was her voice high? It sounded a little high, to her. "But hey, some things just don't bear thinking about, and I'm moderately sure I can keep running until you either give up or need to go home. Your home. Your home miles and miles and miles away from here."

"Or I can just burn down the forest and solve the problem that way." His tone was entirely offhand, but something in his eyes showed he meant it.

"You ever stop to think that you might just be overreacting the tiniest bit?" Really. She worked hard on canvassing this forest with seals, after all. It was perfectly convenient. "The forest hasn't done anything wrong."

"If you would just do as told, it wouldn't be in danger at all. So who, exactly, is overreacting?"

"The one who threatened to start a wildfire over a misunderstanding?" Yuichi hazarded a guess, crouching on he branch to eye him pointedly.

"Mmm no. The one who is running away when they've been assured they weren't being hunted." He tisked her. "Though that can change."

"The unsheathed sword in your hand invalidates any promise of nonviolence. Period." She opted not to get into what else was wrong with his claim, for safety's sake."

"Something only done well after you decided to start running away, if y'd take a moment to recall."

Well, he had her there.

"Technically I ran up. When the sword came out, that's when I started running away." Ahh, her old friend semantics. The fight was beginning to drain from her, but the fear lingered.
