Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application. The female Sannin looked around the Leaf Village for the first time in quite a while and smiled at her surroundings. It was nightfall, and she knew exactly where she was going.

"Perfect," Tsunade said to herself as she walked to the nearest bar, sat down at a table, ordered herself sake, and relaxed with her travel bag next to her.

What's the best way to avoid debt collectors who know that you never return home?

When Sasuke had agreed to take the fledgling goshawks into his care, he'd been promised that they were diurnal -- he was almost positive of this. Being certain in his memory didn't mean that he wasn't awoken by their cheeping half an hour after collapsing into bed after another long day of testing, though, and apparently it also meant that he was stomping blearily through the streets in search of a convenience store that sold raw meat and was still open at this hour.

In his current mood, he very nearly missed the flash of gold hair disappearing into a bar. The glance was only out of hopeful habit, but he blinked to full alertness when he sensed chakra that was familiar to accompany the sight.

The bouncer wasn't particularly pleased to let him step in to search for his erstwhile shishou, but allowed Sasuke through the door once he'd identified Tsunade -- and her travel bag -- at a table.

"Shishou," he greeted, still looking dishevelled from his rude awakening and a little shocked to see her. "Did you only just get in?"

She finished her first drink of the night before addressing him with a smile.

"Sasuke?" Tsunade poured herself another serving of the clear liquid, then set an elbow on the table, looking at him, "My, how you've grown." With that same arm on the table, she gestured with her hand for him to take a seat across from her.

"So how has my student been while I was away?" She leaned back to get herself a bit more comfortable, and drank what she had poured. Maybe he wouldn't be so upset that she left the village if she actually sat and talked with him? She had very important gambling business to take care of after all.

The travel bag looked worn and dusty enough that Sasuke would wager she hadn't even gotten to an inn yet, if Tsunade's luck hadn't taught him that wagering would only lead to even less money in his clan-skimmed account. He waited for the acknowledgment before sitting down, ignoring the annoyed look of the bouncer. It wasn't like he was going to drink, anyway; Obito had seen to that.

"I've been busy," he said, truthfully, and then found himself grinning a bit despite his exhaustion: "Itachi finally recommended me for jounin. I'm in the middle of testing."

Pausing, it occurred to him that it was poor manners to launch into his news without giving his teacher a chance to go through hers, and he belatedly added in a blur of practiced formality: "I hope you're doing well and your travels are interesting."

"That's wonderful! You'd be an amazing jounin. I know you'll make it," her grin was sincere, if not a bit wider than normal due to not exactly pacing herself as she poured another. The quicker you drink the faster it works. Even if she didn't quite have a place to stay yet. Maybe someone would take her in for the night until the inevitable hangover dissipates in the morning. Yes, this was a good plan.

Tsunade, however, was taken aback for a moment when he asked about her, and made a face before smiling again, "Myself and my travels have been informative," an odd choice of words, but she hoped it made her sound like she was actually doing something. "Learning things only a sannin such as myself would be able to pick up on."

She looked at him, slightly proud of herself with her answer, "One day you can fully understand. You ARE my student after all."

HUE HUE HUE

Right -- that congratulations was too quick and too enthusiastic to mean anything other than that Tsunade had already been here for a while before Sasuke had found her. He resisted the urge to let his expression grow too amused, keeping in mind that a drunk Tsunade was every bit as terrifying in combat as a sober Tsunade, but he did lean back a little more comfortably in his chair, raising an eyebrow.

"If you found something really informative, shouldn't you be looking for sensei -- I mean, Hokage-sama?" Of course, it was late enough that Obito had probably gone to bed himself, but Sasuke had no particular qualms about waking Obito up at odd hours. Revenge was sweet.

"Do you want me to go find him?"

That lady going into the bar looked kind of familiar. Somehow.

Adela blinked at the blond woman with exceptional assets entering the bar, and she stopped just outside to get a closer look. Yeah, she was probably staring and it was rude, but for some reason she just couldn't get that the lady being familiar was probably for a reason. What was it? Where had she seen a woman matching the description of this one before?

She couldn't get too close though, not with the bouncer glaring daggers at her. She might have been curios, but she wasn't about to start a fight just to get answers... At least, not over something like that.
