Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. It likely didn't help the flying lizard's reaction that Sasuke flinched into a more defensive stance as soon as the creature crouched into unmistakable threat, hand flying to the hilt of his sword and chakra gathering to his feet in case he needed to get out of the way at top speed. The kid was more apparently capable of controlling his summons that he'd seemed at first, though.

Sasuke's eyes remained narrowed at the lizard-thing's obvious displeasure at being denied right to attack, but he dropped to the ground with a deliberate lowering of his hand away from his sword. His mission here was patrol, without specific orders to look out for anything on the road (not that such orders had been of particular use lately, what with the weird gap in Konoha's intelligence); he had no need to engage in a fight.

"Fry me?" He asked first, gauging how much threat he needed to be concerned with at the moment. "What does that mean?"

"Fry you...like...fried." Hiccup gestured with his hands. "Cooked. Seriously singed, pretty badly burned--you know, what happens to meat when you shove it in the middle of a fire? That kind of fried?" He wasn't even that far from Iwa and he was running into language barriers. He wasn't really the most articulate person anyway.

Toothless sat and regarded their new friend with narrowed eyes and readiness that said he was ready for just the wrong move to be made, even if he would have to physically bowl Hiccup over to do so.

"I mean, but he's not. You just startled him, is all. He's very well behaved." Hiccup said. "Well, most of the time, anyway."

So ... fire-breathing, flying, oversized lizard. If Sasuke didn't know better, he'd have called it a dragon.

Actually, Sasuke did know better, and he was still inclined to call the boy's summons a dragon. Something out of a storybook, almost, down to the glaring and the suspicious snorts, but then the beast sat down on his haunches in a way that reminded Sasuke so much of an affronted housecat that he had to reign in a habitual smirk of greeting.

"He's a dragon," he said out loud, just to make sure he was getting it right. "You have a dragon summons on a courier mission?"
