The D-rank mission meme

A real ninja knows how to catch a cat AND untie robes. Remember that!
D-rank missions, No one really ever likes them. They are unglamorous, tedious, disproportionately difficult, and most importantly everything the academy lied about while you were there. Whether a fresh genin or an ANBU who just pissed off their hokage, d-ranks still end up happening. They're not worth writing home about (or making posts about ) but they still need doing. And that's what this meme is about!
Here's the step by step below.
Step one: Post a top level comment with your character's name and affiliation at the time of their mission. You should probably include their age--again, at the time they were in the mission--along with it. If your character isn't and never was a ninja in a village with d ranks, they may be the one contracting the mission, dragged along, or into a mission!
Step two: Given the nature of this meme, you may want to include a scenario or two for people to tag into, but otherwise, it's a good idea to include relevant information people who want to go on missions with you.
Step three: Tag to others, and slog through those d-ranks!
NOTE: Ages in this meme are synched up. That means genin Karin won't be able to kick it with genin Kushina. But! A current aged Kushina still might end up on a d-rank mission with Karin for some reason!
BONUS NOTES!
1: Although it isn't required to, all tags and threads in this meme can absolutely count toward actual in-game history for the characters involved!
2: Threads that count for history also count for activity! Just like the test drive meme, if the threads count for history, they also count for activity.
3: Don't forget the NPC journal! This is a great opportunity to interact with dead/distanced/etc characters that would still be around or would be prominently involved with the history of your characters, and that's what this NPC journal is there for! Use it!
Rin Nohara - Konoha and Uzushio - like...9 - 11 for ickle d ranks
She might also help around Uzushio in her mid-twenties, or get roped into d ranks with her teammates from 15/16 on, after the war.
Sakura Haruno - Konoha - Ages 12-15 for geninhood.
Post chuuninhood, she would take significantly less D ranks, but I suspect hide and seek meant many random d ranks.
Hyuuga Neji - Sunagakure - Present
Yep, and that is how Hyuuga Neji, Jounin and sort-of pride of his clan, has found himself with a geared up team of shinobi sweating it out in the desert heat as they haul water back to the village like common laborers.
The only thing B-rank about this mission is the very real possibility of sunburn and heat exhaustion. Sorry about that.
Mika Yamada | Konohagakure | Age 10-12 for genin fun times
OR-- Mika feels lazy in November, so she might pick up a D rank doing chores around the village.
Kushina Uzumaki | Konoshio, assorted ages
Occasional D-ranks to help rebuild Uzushio between administrative-type work starting BGS 5 (age ~34).
guessing she's 14 if he's 2? XDD
He could hear the doorbell echo as Kagami left with a pat to his son's head. It was hardly reassuring, though.
Shisui was scared.
Shisui was very scared.
He'd seen Kushina beat up a bunch of boys and his father kept telling him that she would beat him up, too, if he didn't eat his veggies. Kagami apparently told him that everyday they had steamed vegetables for dinner...
