Kiri offered an A-rank recovery mission in Forests.
Suna offered an A-rank assassination in Frost.
Kiri offered a B-rank investigation in Grass.

Rumors and Intelligence
Kiri has been kept rather occupied with the exams and their shinobi have been seen out of the country less in the last month.
Moving through non-Kage countries has gone from irritating, to downright grating as there seems to be many go around in place that refuse cutting across their lands at all. The reason for this is still unclear.
Tea is greatly up in arms due to unknown circumstances revolving around one of their port cities.
Konoha shinobi have been seen traveling the nations with increased frequency.
Ame has started to send people around the country borders in Rain instead of letting people cut across their land as they have in the last few years.
Weather and Goods
Fire's intense cold has only worsened in the last weeks, turning into one of the earliest, and most intense, snowstorm systems that the country has seen in several years. People are starting to sell heavy winter attire from outside the country to compensate for the unusual weather.
Wind has been having an excellent, and mild, winter this year, the temperature not dipping far past morning frost, and the days staying moderately chilly instead of cold. There has been more rain than hail.
Rock has been completely cut off on non-seal related contact with the outside world for two months, but they've started to send people out now that paths for trade have been cleared during a lull in the snow that's lasted two weeks.
Lightning has had no respite in sight for the weather, but thankfully it seems that the snow has eased up to heavy ice rains so the locals don't have to worry about as much flood risk in the spring. It has, however, made precautions against that more difficult.
Water has managed to be bypassed by the worst of the winter weather, though the temperatures are taking a steep dive into more unpleasant temperatures, making fog linger for most of the day over the islands of the country and much of the continent.

We'll be putting up a post shortly for those wishing to attend the Kiri chunin exams. Only locals and participants will be able to attend the first portions, but all characters will be invited to the arena matches at the end of the month.
