Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Well, at least he's not bleeding all over Iruka's floor. But that didn't really mean anything when it came to the stubbornness of ninja, now did it? And so, Iruka sits back in his chair, a bright smile in place because yes, he's still one step away from yelling all the same.

"Which you'll get after swinging by to have a medic look at it, bandaged or not, right?"

"It's on my way," Hayate fudged, implying that yes he would stop while really he didn't want to go because he'd only get the same lecture he had gotten several hundred times before. He coughed, brief but harsh, and resisted the urge to put his hand over his ribs.

The cough didn't get so much as a blink - but it did get Iruka to reach absently into one of his vest pouches and withdraw a piece of honey hardcandy. This he offered to his friend in a way that spoke of long practice as he glanced at the clock then finally lowered the stamp to paper.

"Well! It's a good thing my shift just ended. Guess I can walk with you there. Wanna pick up something to eat after so you don't have to worry about cooking?"

See this innocent look? It's because he's pretty sure Hayate was going to skip right on past the hospital if left to his own devices and Iruka was tired of his friends not treating themselves properly.

Aw curses.

Hayate just smiled at his friend, because yeah it was pretty much impossible to escape now. And he was so not buying that look. Iruka trying to look innocent meant "something is up." And as Hayate was currently the recipient of that look, he knew exactly what.

He unwrapped the candy, popped it into his mouth, and resigned himself to staying awake an extra two hours.

"I would hate to take up too much of your time," he said, perfectly politely.
