Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

To each his own-- not that either was lacking. Shisui had always reflected on the way he would cut through the enemy, head-on and yet still a ghost, blade slicing through flesh and sinew-- but even so it was Shisui who felt the pain before his victims. He would compare with Itachi and sometimes wonder if there was a certain sense of detachment, a certain degree of not having to claim responsibility, a lighter burden. They were thoughts he didn't like to dwell too much on...
Sharingan fading into black once more, Shisui glances at the man screaming on the ground, and then at the one nearly dying. Lips purse together as he watches, the dying man's anguish bleeding through the ground and seeping into Shisui's conscience. "Hm, finish it." A mumble; whether or not it is directed at Itachi is unclear, for in the next moment he is already walking over to the man bleeding out. Knee meets shoulder as he pins the man to the ground and takes his head in his hands.
Crack--
There. Better to snuff out a flame than let it sputter pathetically.
"Decided to make a mess today, 'Tachi?" A glance in the other's direction: a silent plea to make the other man stop.
--And Shisui brings his hand down over lifeless eyes, closing them.

"I'm messy?" Itachi asked, looking at his liberally splattered cousin and the utter desecration he'd visited on his victims. Ironically Itchi had been the messy one, choosing speed over his normal methodical method probably because he was with Shisui and hated to finish a battle too far after his partner, or have someone else attempt to clean up his messes. As the screaming man rolled over and began gouging at his eyes, Itachi caught the woman's flak vest and yanked her to her side, pulling out a blade more knicked and heavy than a kunai. With a little chakra to aid the blow, he slammed the blade home at the base of the woman's neck in an instant kill, silencing her.
Itachi wiped the blood on his face with his sleeve, smearing it liberally instead of really getting any off as he walked to the last victim. This one Itachi knelt beside and used the same, quick and butcher like strike to quietly end them. It wasn't a good move to use in battle, as a blade could get stuck between the vertebra, but it was a quick way to dispatch someone incapacitated. Itachi wiped off the blade and sheathed it, feeling drained even though the fight had been short.
