Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

It wasn't unusual to find Temari on the training grounds early in the morning. It was her preferred way to wake up, work out the kinks, and prepare for the coming day. It also proved to keep her alert and limber, her senses open to everything around her.

Ironically, today she was having something of a late start and it showed in her movements. Instead of the usual practiced flow they were jerky with her rising self-annoyance. There was no reason to be this behind this morning and she was pushing herself all the harder to make up for it. Her face a mask of disapproval as she worked herself through a punishing workout, the only thing that could make it better was if someone deigned to join her.

He hadn't meant to interrupt. In fact, he hadn't meant to find his way to the training grounds at all, but he had been permitted out to roam, if told to keep away from certain parts of the village, and he'd ended up here, on the edges of a training area. Not that it was easy to tell...

Everything looked the same out here, so it wasn't his fault, at least, not entirely. Not that others wouldn't say the same about Konoha's forests. Still, he knew when he'd been spotted, and he tilted his head slightly as he looked at the girl. "It wasn't my intention to interrupt."

She grits her teeth at the voice. She didn't mean that seriously universe. Heaving in a deep breath and letting it out to calm her breathing, she plasters on a face of mild interest as she turns to face whoever has interrupted her morning.

For a brief moment, there is silence as she registers the interloper as guest visiting form Konoha. She shrugs, “It’s fine.” It was probably time she got moving anyway but she doesn’t make a move to leave. “I should probably be leaving.” She finally admits after a long moment, she had a ridiculous number of appointments to take care of before dusk.

Crossing her arms over her chest, she tilts her head her stance confident as she gives him a contemplative once over. It probably wouldn’t look well for her if she left the visitor to wander on his own and get lost. It wouldn’t be her fault, but it still wouldn’t reflect well on her reputation. “Are you lost?” There’s an edge to her voice, like she’d rather do anything other than play tour guide, but such is life that she finds herself in a position where she must.

The once over would show the white robes of office... and the fact he'd worn the hat to Suna because he had been to the desert before and was more than willing to brave the risks of a hat to keep from roasting alive and sunburning to boot. "Slightly. I haven't been given leave to roam so far on previous visits. Admittedly, my last was before the treaties were finalized."

She raises an eyebrow at that last bit, she's curious but won't ask. Wiping sweat from her face she nods. "Alright. Where were you looking to go Hokage-sama?"

"Nowhere specific actually, which is what landed me out here." He gave a soft huff of a laugh. "I'm afraid your village is a bit harder to find your way in than my own, less colorful."

Suna isn't hard to navigate, she wants to say, but she holds her tongue. Suna is perfectly fine the way it is monochrome or rainbow. Her words are clipped almost mechanical as she talks, "Well to start the training grounds are open to you should you desire to use them."

Intentionally uncrossing her arms to give the impression that she was more welcoming of this task she tilts her head, "The market is usually a good place to go if you'd like. Our vendors have some of the best goods and the best places to eat are there as well."

He knows when he's offended someone. After all his years of practice, however, it's usually intentional. "Thank you. It's a beautiful village, so getting lost this way was somewhat embarrassing, thank you for understanding."

There's a slight twitch in her cheek, this is what others would call abuse of your guest status Obito. "Of course. Would you like an escort to the market?" Her tone is all forced kindness with a saccharine edge. If it wouldn't be a direct violation of the treaties between their villages she would throttle him for being a jerk.

He bounced on his heels, staring at her for a very long moment. "Maybe once you stop being offended."

"Of course Hokage-sama." She forces herself to relax and her tone to even out. She gives one last look at the dummy she'd been hurling kunai at before and acknowledges that she'll probably be coming back later. Taking in a deep breath and letting it out again she turns back to her guest. "Shall we?"

He looked... skeptical. Most likely because it had been a very on command sort of reaction. "You know... I think you and I should set up for a spar later."
