Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application. He gave a look around... then his shoulders slumped. "...Not even close."

Considering he was hoping for an outing with someone a whole lot more curvy... this was a definite disappointment. Scratch another attempt at dating off the list.

"It's still weird to be called that by family."

...If you want, Shi can have curves. Or try. He doesn't think he'd look good in drag, though...

Shisui clacked his tongue sympathetically. "Sorry... I could always call you Obito-nii, but I'd forget in the middle of a meeting--" Oh, the dreaded meetings-- "And then everyone would do it, causing perceived disrespect and riots over who can and can't call you anything less than '-sama'." He grinned a little too widely.

Shisui's most distinct memories of Obito as a child was soccer during clan gatherings, voices chastising him for being late--late to come, late to go. Years later, he was still the same. Shisui wondered if he would accept a challenge to a soccer game.

Hey, that's not the impression he was trying to give!

He wrinkled his nose, then huffed a soft laugh. "I wouldn't mind it honestly, being called sama was nice all of the first three times, then it just started to feel weird."

He moved over and leaned in, a wry smile touching his lips. "Every time I get 'Uchiha-sama' I look for Fugaku."

But curves. Curves are worth it.

Shisui couldn't help but snicker. "I think I've seem him look up a few times when you two were both in a meeting." Too many Uchiha of high standing in one room caused issues. Not the sort of issues that always caused bloodshed, but issues that could cause pursed lips and awkward silences. Usually, Shisui was good at causing those without arguments around names. He was special like that. A special Uchiha. What a shocking rarity.

"You'll settle into it," He assured. "Or you won't, but you're a ninja, you can pretend." Shisui nodded, paused, and pulled out a box of dango. "Want a stick?"

You gonna look pretty for him Shisui?

He huffed, then gave him a wry, thankful smile before reaching to accept the offered treat. "Thanks. You're not who I was going to meet but I guess you'll do."

Suuure. Shisui *does* rock the eyeliner.

Shisui's lips quirked. "Can I ask who it was, or is that top secret information?" He took out a stick of dango for himself and bit into a ball happily. He had another box for Itachi.

"Ahh..." He flushed slightly and shook his head. "I'd rather not. She's probably not going to talk to me for a while anyway after this little whoops."

Hokage or no, he still had trouble with the ladies. Or getting up the gall to ask out the people he really liked. At least and be taken seriously.

Shisui snorted. "I'm sorry. We can go out drinking and have a bachelor's night the next time you don't have paperwork and I'm off of missions." Which would be never, but it was the thought that counted, right?

"I'm sure sometime in the next year I'll manage to find the time." His tone was dry, and he let out a deep sigh. "Though it looks like my free time will never be taken if this keeps up."

"Damn," Shisui offered sympathetically. Obito did look worn out, all things aside. "You could try bribing the Yondaime into covering for you for a few days..." It was a funny thought--Shisui didn't know what the Fourth could be bribed with, but Obito was his former student. Surely he knew!

He actually paused to consider that. What could he honestly offer...? Ah! No, he had a solution to this, and he brightened. "I have an idea how to do that, I just never thought about it."

Shisui raised his eyebrows, a smirk of a smile creeping onto his face. "Yeah? Interested in telling a soul? Having a comrade?"

"I'll bribe them with a mission to the land of Hot Water. Done. Sensei wouldn't turn that down if Kushina-nee caught wind of it." He flashed Shisui a little smirk. "Now how to offer..."

"Hm..." Shisui considered it seriously. "Mention within earshot of Kushina-san that you need a pair of ninja for the mission?"

"Before offering it to Sensei? I'll just mention it next time I manage to visit their house. That would probably be less obvious anyway." If he could ever actually get over there at least.

The Hokage position had way to much paperwork.
