Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Please don't drool on the pillowcase
Considering one was a drunk, one went mad, and the other was an old pervert frequently caught peeping at women's baths, he somewhat doubted they were all that 'noble' at all. Still, having her in the Estate wasn't really the problem.
No, the problem was that the Lady Hinata had been so tired by the time she got the bulky woman to the house that she'd mixed up which room was which and dumped the Lady Sannin in his room.
He'd had to sleep in a guest room.
Understandably, he woke fairly early and...with some reluctance that such a thing should be necessary in his room, knocked at the door. "You'll miss breakfast should you sleep in any further."
I'll drool on the pillowcase all I want, and your revered elders will thank me for it
Looking around herself, Tsunade tried to ignore the rising horror of realizing where she really must be. The wall hangings, the dominant color scheme-- even the style of the door looked familiar. The last time she had been here was decades ago, but....
"Fuck me, I'm back in the Hyuuga compound," Tsunade muttered to herself, standing from the (surprisingly comfortable bed). A good stretch later, and she made her way to the door.
"Yeah, thanks, Hyuuga," she told him, narrowing her eyes when she realized it was no revered elder, or a servant, but a shinobi - branch family, presumably - and a young one.
You're gonna get smothered in a drool-covered pillowcase then while they're thanking you
Her squinting was met with squinting of his own. It's only with considerable self control that he didn't scold or correct her for idly referring to him as 'Hyuuga'. Apparently even Sannin could do with adjusting their manners. Hangovers were no excuse for being dismissive to the one whose room you occupied the night before.
"As our guest you're invited to breakfast should you arrive on time." He would not be the one to show her there, though. There were servants. She could ask one of those.
better men than you have tried to kill me with pillowcases
"Thanks," she said again. Her stomach, surprisingly, agreed with the thought of breakfast for the first time in
decadesa long time. "Lead the way, kid."Servant? Thanks, no. She'd much rather someone who didn't fall to their knees the second she walked in the room. Respect was nice. Obsequious was uncomfortable.
There will be no 'trying' this time.
Savage.
...He paused and gave her an incredulous look. First, 'kid' was inappropriate language for a host. Second, he was no servant. An indentured slave to the Main House, perhaps, but those were special circumstances, it did not make him the lapdog of every shinobi the Hyuuga happened to smile at.
"You've been in this complex before, haven't you? The layout hasn't changed, I'm sure you'll find your way easily enough." That was a joke. No one found their way easily through the Hyuuga complex except someone with a Byakugan. But he didn't really care one way or the other whether this woman would eat--just that he didn't have to lead her there.
Re: There will be no 'trying' this time.
She smirked, folding her arms over her chest. "I'm sure Hiashi will be grateful you escorted a guest, rather than let her wander aimlessly until she became frustrated and created herself a way out."
Think of the collateral damage on that one, Neji.
