Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application. Izumo was not much of the grave-visting type. But he was much of the errand-running type, often literally. So when he rounded the corner at a jog, he nearly collided with someone. He sidestepped with a yelp, then got a good look at his victim. Oh, that Nara kid. Shikamaru. Izumo waggled his fingers in greeting, and hefted his grocery bags. Shikamaru was an alright kid. Sarcastic as hell and smart as all fuck, but an alright kid.

"Going to play with the ghosts?" he asked, nodding to the shougi board.

Shikamaru was not much of a socializing type. But he was not rude, not entirely at least so he inclined his head in greeting toward Izumo. He knew enough about the other what he needed to know at least which was minimum since he was no kind of threat as far as those who gave Shikamaru his orders thought.

"No, I thought I'd go commune with them, see if they had any wise advice for me." Sarcastic, yes this certainly describes Shikamaru because the sarcasm is easier than the honest emotions that plague him.

"I thought you needed a different board for that. Shows what I know." Izumo chuckled brightly. "It's a good day for it, thoug. Not too hot." A nice day for being outside. Which was why Izumo was out running errands, instead of somewhere indoors playing cards with his friends. He could stand to miss a poker game or two. His paycheck could definitely stand for it.
