Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application. Kagami, on the other hand, would wait patiently for the day when Shisui would get over his guilt and realize that his father was actually proud of him for making the decision to move out. It had been a little difficult letting go, but he had come to accept it. Here's just waiting on Shisui to figure things out sooner or later so that visiting home wouldn't be such an... event.

But he had to consider the option of eating out versus eating in. Kagami rarely ever ate out; it was never the same without Torifu in the picture. So that smile he was wearing just then? It faltered."...If you say so," he mumbled, about to give Shisui the bags, but stopping halfway to look at him. "Were you going that way? If not, you don't have to trouble yourself."

Shisui hesitated, and then shook his head. "We don't have to, I just don't want to give either of us food poisoning." That wasn't a given, but Shisui really didn't trust himself.

"No, don't be silly, dad," Shisui protested, and took the bags from him. "Let's go!"

"Neither do I. Which is why you won't be cooking." A chuckle because, yeah no, Shisui could stay out of the kitchen.

But, ah-- Shisui had already taken the bags from him. Kagami said nothing for the moment, merely following Shisui's lead. He really didn't want his son to feel forced into visiting the family home, and somehow, every day, it was beginning to feel more and more like he was making the young man uncomfortable. "What about your plans with Itachi? This won't delay them?" He'd guessed that Shisui probably had plans with Itachi if he'd suggested the other shinobi accompany him for dinner.

Shisui smiled. "I haven't set any food on fire in months!" That was his great victory.

He shook his head. "We were just planning to mess around and be useless--dinner's awesome!" He grinned at Kagami, falling into step next to him. "He'll probably be glad to not have to walk so far from the compound." Sometimes Itachi would come straight from a mission to his apartment, but there were no missions today--just sweet relaxation.
