Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Yugito was on foot, moving slowly. She had a traveling cloak, though it was thrown back over her shoulders in the balmy weather of the Land of Fire. The straps of a small pack could be seen, though the bundle itself was hidden by her cloak. The most obvious object was a rather large bag, the one strap crossing her shoulder and resting on her hip. Too bulky to really move quickly, which was the point.

She was trying to seem as nonthreatening as possible--well, as possible as she could seem with the Kumo headband boldly displayed on her head. Yugito was unable to take the main road: the political situation Kumo was in just now (and the reason she was here) was a messy one, and certain people would be alarmed if a Kumo shinobi was spotted in the vicinity of Konoha.

So the back road Yugito took, waiting for the mercy of a patrol group. With every step she took, her pride rankled, but there was nothing to be done about that. Nothing but smooth politics, smiles and humbleness.

And sending the second-most important jinchuriki to Konoha to show how screwed they were.

There's a shinobi, Matatabi said wearily. It was half displeased by the change in Yugito's routine, but half amused by the way Kumo was having to bow and scrape. Yugito nodded imperceptibly.

"Shinobi-san?" She waited.

His probing senses were beaten back by a tsunami of chakra. It wasn’t aggressive, but the sheer volume was worrying. The approaching shinobi was taking no precautions to disguise her presence. This could mean one of two things — the person intended no harm, or she was so confident in her own abilities that she thought stealth unnecessary.

Shikaku clocked each detail, from her hitai-ate to the subtle resignation written in the lines of her stance. It was part of his job to recognise the most powerful shinobi, especially ones from rival villages such as Kumogakure, so he was annoyed when it took him half a minute to settle on an identity.

Sending a jinchuuriki for negotiations? A politically risky move, and one that revealed more of Kumogakure’s current state than its leaders probably wanted.

He shrugged off the shadows and stepped forward.

“You are aware that Konoha has a gate?”
