Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. Everyone gets an eyeful of cleavage, it's not really avoidable.

"Good. At least you're practical about it." Hana hated people who didn't stop to consider whether they could devote the necessary time and energy to caring for pets. The ones who wanted pets selfishly but didn't bother to think of the animals as living things with needs of their own.

Hana's clothes were as simple as usual, fitted shorts and a tighter-than-normal flak jacket. It was unzipped the tiniest bit further than most days due to the heat, but not enough for the difference to be readily noticeable. And to be honest, she never minded drawing eyes. Hana flirted as straightforwardly as she did anything else. She didn't notice any intentional effort on Shisui's part to keep his gaze on her face. Hana wasn't looking at Shisui in the first place. All of her attention was focused firmly on the cat in his hands.

Hana bit the corner of her lower lip lightly with a canine tooth, then took a deep breath, concentrating. She did her best to repair the damage, green chakra glowing for a full minute before stuttering into nothing. If it had been enough, she wasn't sure. Hana thought partial sight was the most likely outcome, but they'd still need to test that.

"One has to be. They're like children; you wouldn't leave your children all alone at home with nothing to eat nor the skills to feed themselves." Shisui probably shared the same sentiment when it came to people who selfishly took in animals and then forgot about backing that up with unconditional love and care. He also particularly couldn't stand the people who took in puppies and kittens but threw them out when they grew into adults. He'd seen one person pour a bucket of scalding hot water over a dog to discourage it from returning to its 'home'.

...Needless to say, he'd yanked the dog before any permanent damage could be done.

Shisui held the kitten as still as he possibly could manage, hoping that whatever Hana was doing would be over soon for the kitten's sake.

The kitten growling made him focus back on the task at hand. "Everything okay?"

"My clan has a system in place that works just as well for animals as humans, but most don't." Hana's shift with the Inuzuka puppies, human and canine, was tomorrow. She was looking forward to day of games, all of them designed to teach basic tracking skills or hand signs. Such shifts were voluntary for all active duty shinobi and loosely required for any retired or civilian clan members. "There's always someone to look after dogs and children in the Inuzuka compound."

Hana frowned again. "I don't think it is, not entirely. I think I had some effect, but I doubt she has full vision back in that eye. That's all I could do even if I weren't low on chakra."

She held out her hands for the kitten. "She's not a shinobi. Partial vision in one eye won't hinder her at all, especially since she's young enough for quick adjustment." Hana was trying to convince herself as much as Shisui. She hated not being able to fully heal any animal. There were still tests to be done, but Hana was fairly certain that partial vision was the most she could have managed. It was likely to be either cloudy, blurry, or narrowed.
