Test Drive Post!

Sunshineverse
Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Utakata's mind wasn't on gift-giving. The only person in the world he might consider giving a gift to (besides maybe Tonbee if he had to...) was probably much too busy adjusting to her new life and hunting down some person willing to be a master to want gifts from him anyway. And he didn't have money to buy things that weren't for him. The life of a missing nin as wanted as him didn't involve a lot of payments.

Well it did, just not to him.

Life as a missing nin jinchuuriki tended to be about like walking into a tea shop for supplies only to have an entire shelf full of dried tea dump on top of oneself for no apparent reason. That was to say abrupt, unpleasant, and completely uncalled for.

As for himself, at least, he had the time to summon up a bubble and deflect the dried tea leaves. Once it seemed apparent the shelf would no longer spill any more tea, the bubble sloughed off the leaves that had begun to clump and collect on the damp surface, and then popped.

...He directed a scornful look at the boy standing next to him. "You should try not to be so active in a place like this." Because he saw the kid putting his hand on the shelf and then he saw it fall, so the answer was...unfortunate timing.

Sasuke, short of any jutsu that wasn't designed to incinerate, electrify, or pulverize, wound up with tea leaves thoroughly embedded in his hair and (extremely uncomfortably) escaping down into the wide Uchiha collar. His attempt to step out of the way only meant that he bumped up against the shelf of grains behind him, leaving him stabilizing yet another rickety shelf while tea leaves rustled out of every conceivable nook and cranny of his person.

And accused of being too active. Sasuke's gaze snapped to the speaker already narrowed in a glare, even as he tried to set the grain shelf back into whatever precarious balance it had been existing in.

"What? You're the one who let in the wind that knocked everything off."

... an entirely immature response to have, but he had tea leaves poking sharply at very unpleasant areas.
