Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. Jiraiya noticed the girl stop and stare, but was focused more on the impudent guard. Of course he had his papers. Jiraiya wasn't a stupid man at all! With a huff he handed the papers over, and the shinobi at the gate looked even more unimpressed.

"What's that look for!" He crossed his arms and fitted the young kid with a stern look. "If you'd let me finish my pose you'd know I am who those say I am. Even without, I am very recognizable."

He shook his head and gestured Adela closer. "Why, I'm sure this young chickadee recognized one of the Legendary Sannin right away, but was too shy to ask for my autograph. Don't worry! I would be happy to autograph... a copy--"

Jiraiya winked, but then coughed. She was a little young for Icha Icha. Well! Even if it hadn't sold well, there was still the Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Ninja!

"--of my debut novel for you!"

"You're an author?" The question was innocent enough, and she blinked when she approached just a little - though for the time she remained out of arm's ready. Maybe this guy had his papers, but he still seemed kind of weird... And that wink and that nickname kind of got her on guard. Still, Jiraiya, Jiraiya, where had she heard that name before... Ugh, it felt too familiar!

It was going to bug her all day. She just knew it.

Still, a shinobi author... It'd be more weird if she wasn't used to seeing ninja leading dual careers, but that he was successful had to say something right?

"Well, I'll forgive you for not knowing! Most of my books are adults only!"

Jiraiya laughed, a little over-dramatic but he did indeed keep copies of all his books on his person, so he whipped out a copy and signed it with a flourish. "Jiraiya of the Legendary Three." Even one glance at the back cover or inside would reveal that the hero of the book was named Naruto.

"Say, I'll even personalize it for you. What's your name?"

She was about to mention that she was older than she looked (even if she was only fifteen... still!) but when he spoke out his signature she blanked. Wait. Jiraiya of the Legendary Three. That was right, he was...

"... It's Adela..." She blinked hard at him, mouth agape as it processed before she snapped out of it and her voiced raised, "Wait, you're that Jiraiya!? Of the Sannin!?"
