Test Drive Post!

Sunshineverse
Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

She wasn't expecting an apology in return, quickly figures she must've caught the other staring. (Not that she blames the redhead, it's probably kind of difficult not to notice her general state of disheveled and disgusting.)

"That obvious, huh." Her tone of voice is both gentle and teasing, as if trying to avoid scaring the other guest off. She imbibes another mouthful of broth before continuing with a nod, "I did. Sand Country. Have you been before?"

The kunoichi in question doesn't look too much younger than herself, but Ayane knows better than to assume experience from age. She might have traveled more than half the world by now, or she might've never left Konoha. (Either way it isn't for her to say.)

"I have, on vacation and during missions. It's nice there, even if it's way too dry," In spite of herself she made a face, looking down at her cup with a smile. That was right, that was when she had Neji as a body-guard, and when they had really started to become friends... For the most part, she had good memories of Suna. Even with the alliance, it felt odd to think that.

Well, it was better than terrible memories.

"I'm guessing that it wasn't so nice in your case, considering..." An absent wave to her state of dress and she smiled, though if the other was going to be embarrassed over it Adela wouldn't bring it up anymore. Hell, she probably shouldn't have brought it up in the first place...

True, in the shinobi world you took what you could get, even if the best only happened to be "not completely horrible". When life gives you lemons, you make a refreshing drink with it. When a mission gives you a crapton of sand and hideous sunburn, you--

Point being, Ayane pretty much holds the same opinion about Suna-- about a lot of things, actually-- as the girl next to her; it's a mix of nice and not-so-nice.

She laughs again and shakes her head. "This? No no, this is all Rain. Fastest route home, though next time I think I might go with scenic instead..."

By 'might' she means 'definitely'.
