Test Drive Post!

Sunshineverse
Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

She stops eating for a moment to-- quite exaggeratedly-- bat her eyelashes at him in response to the impromptu exam. And then immediately returns to the task as soon as he's finished, slurping up the rest of the broth before settling back herself with a rather pleased expression plastered to her face.

(Ayane's listening intently enough to her cousin's snippets of wisdom, even if it doesn't exactly look like it. ...Or sound like it.)

"So where does that put you, little Sasuke? At the rate I hear you're jumping through ranks, I bet you'll be a puddle of wax before the year's out."

She tips her head to the side and flashes a quiet smile, sideways and yet genuine. "But you know, I'd rather end up as a puddle of wax than a musty candle that's been forgotten in the basement."

(Burn twice as bright, and all that poetic garbage.) Anyhow, she points at the nearest menu. "You want anything? I'm cashing in soon, so..."

She breaks off with a shrug, indicating it's her treat.

He only snorts at those fluttering eyes, satisfied that any damage is surface-level and probably just visually exacerbated by rain. The flattery, too, just makes him drop his chair back to all four feet with a thud, very close to rolling his eyes but too close to Mikoto's presence (anywhere in the village, really) to give in to the temptation.

"I only just made jounin, Ayane-baa-san," with the habitual literally years after Itachi did not so much unspoken as assumed present. "I'll have to start clearing out my spot in the basement at this rate."

His disappointment with himself is constant enough that it's a second skin, though, and not one so noticeable anymore as to stop his hunger. (The hunger has been almost comforting this month, actually. Apparently even soul-searching following a mission that drew his entire life's purpose into question can't kill his appetite.) He's already pulling the menu to his side of the table when her offer trails off, glancing over the pictures with avarice.

"If you're sure you want to cover me," he says, a last-chance offer to save her wallet that is at least twenty-five percent sincere.
