Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Re: Kagami Uchiha | Naruto | Konoha
The man was an esteemed elder of the clan. If he wanted to stand in the middle of the street and almost get run over, the least Itachi could do was make sure he didn't actually get run over. He'd move eventually.
sob diverting traffic because there's a different sort of pothole sanding in the middle of it ;;
Keep diverting traffic, Itachi, Kagami wasn't going to budge. Or rather, he'll just take a few steps back, admiring the view of the rock from a different angle and blocking the second lane of traffic if you will.

He was just...Itachi didn't have a word for people who purposefully stood in busy streets he was willing to apply to Kagami. Respect for his elders had been drilled into him to efficiently.
He should tell Shisui to get his father a replica of the Hokage mountain. Since being subtle hadn't done anything, Itachi walked up to Kagami. "Are you all right, Kagami-san?"
no subject
And when Itachi walked up to him, Kagami beamed. "I am, thank you. And you?" Ah, breathing in the smell of freedom. "Lovely day."
no subject
"...there would be a better view of the mountain on a roof," Itachi observed.
no subject
"Ah, a person's point of view cannot be dictated by someone else now, could it, Itachi?" But he will move, in his own time, away from the traffic and onto the sidewalk. "I stood there," he says, pointing to the spot the younger man had initially found him, in the middle of the road and in the way of a cabbage cart. "Sixty years ago, when they were carving out the Shodaime's face on that rock."
no subject
"The road was probably not as busy back then," Itachi observed. "Becoming so caught up in the past that you ignore the present and the future isn't a very wise thing to do, uncle." Itachi tended to use the terms uncle, cousin, and aunt with the Uchiha in a very general sense. Eventually, he was related to everyone with that last name.
no subject
"There was no road back then." But Itachi earns a quirk of that still-very-black eyebrow for that one. "What made you assume that I wasn't in tune with my current surroundings, Itachi?"
no subject
. . .
No, there wasn't a point in wasting that much breath on the man. Itachi bowed. "Thank you for getting out of the road, Kagami-san." With that he fully intended to make his escape before Kagami could say anything else.
no subject
"Itachi--" He called after him, not really expecting Itachi to turn around and stop for him. "Thank you." That was what he had been expecting, hadn't he? Some form of acknowledgment for all his trouble.
no subject
Next time, he really was just going to mind his own business.
