Test Drive Post!
Sunshineverse | ||||
Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

The latter was apparently very much on Nanako's side today.
Yagura rarely let her out into the field these days, save for very important missions or her mandatory vacation days. The odds of crossing paths with this man, however, were astronomical. He was as much of a shut-in as she was, these days, if the reports they had scraped together were any indication. Still, she while she wasn't interesting in a fight—she had guards to spar with—that didn't mean she wouldn't pounce on the opportunity.
She stopped walking, smoothing down the casual, civilian-style dress she liked to wear on her days off. "My, my." She beamed at him. "It's certainly been quite some time since I've seen that face in the daylight."

If a bit paler than she was before.
"True. You've been busy."

It was fairly famous, so it might actually be a factor, knowing him.

"It is a wonderful shop."
Though the answer was, of course, not a yes or no.

"I've swung by a few times the past few days," she admitted, bringing a hand up to her cheek as if in shame while simultaneously raising the wicker basket perched on her shoulder. "I fear I might end up going home a bit heavier than I was when I left." She had intended to simply laze around and read a new mystery novel while eating sweets in the sun, but perhaps this was a better use for them.

Still, there was the regrettable worry that she might try to poison him, and he had to weigh the risks against the potential benefits. The biggest of which being if she was bored enough of their interactions, rare though they were, to risk it.
"You might, but you wouldn't."

"Kind of you to say so," she told him, before patting the basket. "Either way, would you care to help minimize the danger?"

"Unless you have a better idea?"

"No, I think your idea works fine."
