Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

She refrained from flinching as his finger pushed her dark hair aside. She wasn't easily intimidated but then his words pierced through her pride. She was proud to be her fathers daughter even if she didn't agree with the many choices he's made. She couldn't understand why he would sell out their home for protection, of course that wasn't what was really happening but Yuffie only ever saw things as black and white.

"That isn't why!?" She took a small step forward staring up at the towering man, her words dripping with venom. "And how else would traps work unless there was someone else to run into them?" Yuffie was shouting her feelings obviously hurt even as she tried to cover it up.

[Sorry for weird icons! I have to wait to repurchase my account T-T]

"Hm. You say that as though you don't believe it." Being the daughter of an eldest son who let his younger brother take over the country for profit? He wouldn't believe her being sent to be a village shinobi as anything but a bid to keep her from politics. And if her ability bluff was this low, she needed more training even in that.

"I didn't say untraveled, I said less. You're too impatient. That's why you were ever in my unit, if you'll recall, though you didn't... stick. Shame, yu might have benefitted from a longer stay."

"Of course I believe it!"

How was it whenever he opened his mouth Yuffie got more and more pissed off? Her eyes glared up at him and she crossed her arms. She thought about turning away but she really didn't want the daunting man to leave her sights.

"AND I AM NOT-" She cut herself off. Yuffie was talented except she lacked patience. "I can do just fine on my own." And she was stubborn.

"If you could not, you would not have come so far as a shinobi of Kiri." He brushed the words away quickly, obviously not caring. "It's a shame your civilian connections leave you... a liability."

He stared down at her, green eyes intense, sharply evaluating her. "You have stagnated in the year since we last spoke."

True or not, he was sure the statement would get the results out of her that he wanted, since it seemed true enough to him.

"Like hell I have!" He was pushing her buttons perfectly nudging at every crack in her pride until it was slowly breaking away. It was annoying and unfair and she hated it.

Yuffie didn't care if he was faster.. stronger or whatever. He was a jerk and she wasn't the type to just stand for his brand of insults. She flicked her dangers into her palm throwing them towards the silver haired tyrant in a smooth fluid motion.

The smirk he graced her with was both knowing and a bit condescending. "Hit a nerve did I Yuffie? How am I not shocked."

"You don't have to be a jerk, you know." She glared up at him before walking past him making sure to bump his shoulder as she walked towards her trap. With a flick of her wrist she disarmed it as if her fun had been spoiled.

"Don't I? It got my point through, didn't it?" He was watching her, pivoting on his heel to keep her in sight, only just starting the motion when she made contact so it barely counted as such at all.

A common reaction from him.

Yuffie stuck out her tongue at him. The traps were disarmed and she had no move to pick them back up. “Ever hear the saying you catch more flies with honey?” Not that asking Yuffie nicely has ever worked in the past.

She pushed her tongue against the side of her cheek looking up him while crossing her arms over her chest. She didn’t want to wait for another comment knowing it would be short and snarky. “I’m heading back now.” She wasn’t sure why she felt he need to announce it but the moment her declaration left her lips, she stomped off.

"If I thought you were as insignificant as a fly, maybe I'd bother." It was an amused reply, and he turned to resume his amble in the direction he'd been going, perpendicular to hers.

She stuck out her tongue at him even though it had been more of a compliment than an insult.

She turned on her heel and ran off towards the training area without saying another word.
