Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. Oh! Yeah, sure! [ He smiles, shifting his pack a little better on his back. His plan had been to head straight home and wait for one or both of his parents to show up, but... He's sure they won't begrudge him spending some time with his team-mate before them, just this once. ]

How's everythin' been while I've been gone? [ He's sent the odd scroll in his time away but... he's never been very eloquent with the written word; he much prefers speaking. ]

[And oh the smile she turns on him is brilliant. There's a bounce in her step now as they walk. His willingness to join her for lunch filling her with excitement, especially given how long it has been since he was last in the village for a visit.] I hope you like what I picked. I wasn't expecting you to be visiting.

But things have been pretty good. [She shrugs pushing a section of her hair back behind her ear. That wasn't entirely true, but she didn't think a visit was the best time to explain how her family decided to make such a life-changing decision for her in recent months. Right now she just wanted to soak up as much time with her missing teammate until he came home permanently.] You missed a couple interesting missions while you've been gone.

[ He can actually sense the happiness in her gait, and for a moment it makes his ears stop working. The toads had told him that sage training would sharpen his concentration and perceptiveness, but he'd never expected it to be this acute.

He's even distracted for a moment by the glossy sheen to her hair as she pushes it behind her ear.

He clears his throat as if he's left her waiting long, when in actuality his brain shakes free of it's reverie just in time to respond, and gives her a little chuckle. ] Yeah? Interesting how? [ He wants to know everything; he's missed going on missions. Sage training tends to be a whole lot of sitting around. ]

[She grins and shrugs a little at his excitement.] A couple b-ranks turned s-ranks.

[And she was going to skip over the fact that the second one put her in the hospital. Just like she was going to skip over the fact that it had been the cause of her new non-shinobi life related problem.]

Sasuke's been running around taking missions like his life depends on it too. I've barely been able to catch him for more than a day at home.

Woah, nice! I'm jealous! You guys better save a couple of missions like that for me when I get home, okay? [ At least they'd come out the other side of them unharmed. Or so he assumed. He'd be told if anything had gone wrong, surely...

At the mention of Sasuke and his flighty behavior, Naruto pulls a face. ] Bah.. Wonder what's got him so worked up. Is everythin' okay with his clan? [ Naruto, you're on a team with members of two big clans, don't be rude. ] Oh, and yours?

[gentledheart]

Naruto-kun! No one wishes for missions like that except you. [Or maybe he wouldn't. He apparently had been told about her near miss on the last B- turned S-rank mission.

All she can do though is shrug, her facial expression neutral.] I think everything is well in the Uchiha. And things are decent in Hyuuga as well. [Lies, complete and utter lies.]
