Test Drive Post!

Sunshineverse
Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right?

Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header:
Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation

Then you comment around and play with everyone else!

If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country.

One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on.

And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

"It sometimes doesn't feel that way." He was stating a fact, because sometimes he has to remind himself that he actually is of age and thus could refuse to be coddled by Dori.

All these negative thoughts though are pushed to the back of his mind as he perks up at the thought of what such adventures would mean. Face already gaining a hopeful look as let's Nori physically lead him through the streets.

"Does this mean you'll teach me some things that you couldn't while we were at home?" Even if it did mean having to listen to Dori grumble and complain about Nori over such, it would be worth it to learn more and see how Nori did things.

Nori grinned a full show of teeth and bumped them companionably together. Ori's enthusiasm and idolization of his adventures always filled him with pride and alarm in equal measure. He knew Dori was right when he pinned those particular behaviors on him, but their little Ori was grown up and once peace reigned over the countryside, they'd have no reason to keep him in the mountain.

"Some fings, but I'd like t' keep livin', so not all'a it. Gonna work on survival skills while yer out here an' all that. Might even get you a proper weapon. How's that sound?"

It was hard not to smile back, both in that happy anticipation that only those still young seem capable and because of the promise that was in that statement. He would get Nori's full attention during such things, and Ori admitted he was selfishly looking forward to such with the brother that was not as permanent a fixture as Dori had been.

"Are you sure we'll find a proper one up here? Everything does seem more suited to taller beings."

He really didn't have much faith in the crafting skills of most tall folk to begin with.

Nori shrugged, kicking in the door to the mountainous structure and directing Ori up a long stairway. He was sure someone would want a couple answers, but he'd try and get his little brother sequestered in the library before he handled all that.

"I got a couple fings you can try, but if not, I know just where t' go, don' you worry. We'll find ya somefin' good."

He pat Ori on the back once more as they crested a landing and hopped forward to open the door with a flourishing bow. "The library, master scribe."
