Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. The piece of okonomiyaki that was halfway to her mouth pauses in midair at her aunts voice. She isn't surprised per se, she'd noticed her chakra before she spoke, a grin forming as she popped the piece of food in her mouth and chewed and swallowed before spinning around in her seat.

Shrugging nonchalantly, "It was shop or watch Naruto make out with his cup ramen again." She makes a face and shudders slightly just thinking about it. Ew cousin making out with ramen not how she wanted to spend her afternoon.

Her word choice earns a laugh. A lovely-- okay no, a full-on ugly, cackling laugh.

"He won't be eating much of it now that I'm back in town. And he better not eat too much either, I was gonna make fresh ramen for dinner. Same goes for you, don't eat too much this afternoon. So what did you get anyway?"

Aaaaaaand time to crouch down and attempt to peek in one of the bags.

It's the laugh that sets Karin on edge. Prepared to slap hands away at a moments notice because that laugh only proceeds awful things.

"I won't. I'm responsible with my money." She pouts her lower lip at her aunt leaning forward to close up the bags as fast as possible so their contents are immediately visible.

"Not much, a couple shirts. A new pair of boots. The basics." And a couple unmentionables she'd rather her aunt didn't pull out in a public location, modestly cut or not.

She eventually leaves the bags alone. She'll see some of what Karin got later, either through being nosy at home or when she gets around to wearing it.

"I know you are, Karin. You've proven that." The hand comes late, but only rests on her shoulder for a few seconds for a gentle squeeze, then returning to Kushina's side.

"Mind if I join you for lunch, or would you rather meet up with me later?"

She smiles up at her aunt. Well she has to be responsible she's sixteen and regularly left without supervision. Under normal circumstances that would translate into wild behavior but then anyone who knows Kushina also knows that the woman can be scary when you misbehave.

"I don't mind. I thought you might prefer some time with Naruto-kun and Minato-ojisan." She's aware of the toll it takes on her aunt to be away from her family for extended periods of time. She waves for her aunt to join her and pops another bite of okonomiyaki in her mouth.

"Naruto said he had planned to go training and I guess Minato's on a mission right now, but he'll be back some time tonight. I don't think they were expecting us until tomorrow..." She thought back to that morning and... Ah. That's right, she left a clone to mind the office so they could leave early. "Anyway, it's probably better that I eat something before I go shopping for dinner ingredients or I might get enough food to feed the whole village."

She laughs at her own joke as she waves at the owner to order up a dish of yakisoba.

"So, did you have anything in mind to do while we're here?"
