Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

[She opens the front door and waves her in first. The main room is wall to wall shelves. Some are partially empty as new books and scrolls arrive each week. Kushina leads the way to a small reading room where several scrolls in glass cases hang on the wall or on stands around the room. A pair of ninja stand in opposite corners, each with Uzushio's symbol sewn into their sleeves. Both had bright red hair, but their outfits spoke of two different villages. They both gave Kushina a small bow out of respect as she entered.]
Here we are! There's a lot of history in this room. The story of Uzushiogakure's original founding is up on the wall. Stories about the Uzumaki clan are over... Uh... There! [She points to the opposite wall.] Oh! Here they are! I'm really glad they didn't move these, y'know! [She darts over to three cases.]
Each of these scrolls has a different seal. They were created by some of the first Uzumaki. As you can see, they may seem really crude, but they've been perfected over the years. I think this is something your client may be interested in, if they decide to come see for themselves.

[It's a fleeting thought that will bug her at a later date. Right now, she just lets herself go in, still a bit nervous that this is somehow a trap but mostly fascinated by everything on display and stored away. It's tempting to take a closer look. Still, she keeps her hands to herself, fiddling with her fingers. She glances at the two ninjas, recognizing the outfits and committing them to memory, before turning her attention back to Kushina. It almost feels like there's barely enough time to note the placement of everything before she's getting swept up again.]
[It's kind of scary how easy it is to get swept up in Kushina's energy, actually, especially when Ava's never really dealt with anyone like her before.]
[There's a close look at the cases, and Ava gives a nod.]
I think you're right... Do you think it would be alright if I sketched a picture of them? I'm, um, better at drawing then describing things..

At Ava's request, she cocks her head, thinking hard on it for a good minute or two.]
I don't see the harm of sketching one of them. But if you make something big and scaly come out, you're on your own. [She puts on a super serious mom-lecture face for a few seconds before cracking up.] I'm just kidding! We already checked it and nothing'll happen if you draw it. Promise.
And this time I was the one to lose it WELP
[A bigger look of suspicion has never been seen directed at a scroll before.]
So, you're... 200% sure it won't let out something big and scaly?
[She's just being cautious okay]
it's okay~
[And it's back to smiles as she drops the imitation.] He's got a point though, and I'm glad he does it.

Yeah, that's really smart. Doing all this reconstruction- something like that is really important, right?
[Ava talks as she starts to draw, quick short movements of the wirst as she takes in everything and stands on her toes for a better look.]

[The correction comes with a sheepish grin to the guards. And sorry not sorry Ava, but Kushina's gonna watch you draw from one side, trying not to block your light.]

[It's said absentmindedly while she's standing on the tips of her toes to get a better look.]

[It took a minute, but what Ava actually said finally filtered in. Her smile droops, her eyes turning to Ava with surprise and... pity.]
--Eh?! Don't you have something important to you like that?

[It takes her a second to realize the tone of the conversation has changed. Her shoulders hunch up a bit and she stops her sketching.]
...Sorry if that's weird.

[She seems pretty at peace with what she's saying as she goes on and on and-- whoops! She catches herself rambling.]
Ehehe... Sorry about that.

But don't you think that makes you weaker, if you have so many people you have to watch over? What if someone got taken hostage and you had to choose between your goal and the hostage?
[It's what her teachers at the Academy always taught, anyway.]
wow i swore i answered this but i must've lost the tag when chrome crashed sorry!
[She hasn't faced that tough decision yet, but it's one that her husband's team did. A decision that nearly cost one their life, but thankfully did not. If they had the bravery to make that choice at 12, certainly she could all these years later.]
we are the most on-top RPers
[That's something she hadn't taken into consideration. As far as she knows, all her teammates fought so hard just to not be failures and for loyalty to Kiri. Most of the time, anyway. The idea of failing a mission... That was shameful. It showed you weren't reliable. She'd known that other lands were different, but it's only now that she really experiences such a difference.]
yup :'D

[Wow this is hard to put into words...]

So I guess it's not going to happen... [She finishes off a few things with the sketch before putting it all away.] Thanks for showing me the scrolls. I think they'll make my client happy.
