Okay everyone, it's time to test some people out! The rules of the game are simple. You have a character you would like to try out as a native to the setting of this game. You want to see if this is the right setting to play said character in, right? Well, then all you have to do is drop them into this post as a top level comment with this as the header: Character name | Series (OC's just put Original here) | Planned Village Affiliation Then you comment around and play with everyone else! If you need some ideas on how to get started, you can drop your character in during the middle of a mission, have them at an eatery around their village, or maybe even just doing weapons practice. It's up to you how you want to set out, so feel free to put your characters in this version of the Naruto universe however it most seems appropriate. Just be sure to say where you put them somewhere in your post though, otherwise two people might not even be threading in the same country. One last thing! Remember that your character was born in this universe, so whatever else you decide, your character is a world native, even if they might be a tourist in the village you decided to test them out on. And that's it. Just be good to each other and have fun! Threads you do here can count toward future activity checks, so long as the person you're threading with gets in too. These threads can also be used for samples on your application.

Obito Uchiha | Naruto | Konoha
He definitely had never mastered the art, and he skidded to a halt just inside the building to see if the person he was meeting had... given up and left.
It wouldn't be the first time.
Shisui Uchiha | Naruto | Konoha
Shaking his head as he met the other man halfway, Shisui, arms laden with reports that needed filing and organizing, shook his head. "I sent him away." Whether that statement held any truth or not was to be determined later--

He wouldn't be surprised if he had left though. He was over a half hour late because of the minor fire that just needed to be discussed right-this-second by the head teacher. "But... I'm going to try anyway. At least it's nothing that's going to cause an international incident. That was... a bad day."

"...Who knows if it will? The guy wasn't from Konoha." Okay, keeping up the act was becoming just a little difficult. Shisui was trying not to snicker.

oh hai thar cuz
...
Hefting the bag to prevent it from harm, Shisui grinned and gave a small bow. "Hi, Obito-sama." He shifted back up, rocked on his heels and glanced around. There was no one in the sweet shop except for the owner, who was engrossed in a magazine.
"I guess I'm not the one you're looking for?"
Cousin~!
Considering he was hoping for an outing with someone a whole lot more curvy... this was a definite disappointment. Scratch another attempt at dating off the list.
"It's still weird to be called that by family."
...If you want, Shi can have curves. Or try. He doesn't think he'd look good in drag, though...
Shisui's most distinct memories of Obito as a child was soccer during clan gatherings, voices chastising him for being late--late to come, late to go. Years later, he was still the same. Shisui wondered if he would accept a challenge to a soccer game.
Hey, that's not the impression he was trying to give!
He moved over and leaned in, a wry smile touching his lips. "Every time I get 'Uchiha-sama' I look for Fugaku."
But curves. Curves are worth it.
You gonna look pretty for him Shisui?
Suuure. Shisui *does* rock the eyeliner.

Obito, you kept Sasori waiting [Sasori | Naruto | Surprise surprise-- Sunagakure]
So when he spots Obito right there, Sasori's expression morphs into a scowl. "You're late." Disrespect would be met with disrespect; he was not going to shower the other man in honorifics or bow in his presence.
Everything about this meeting promised grey skies with thunder in the background.

Well, that just added a whole layer of 'this is a terrible day' to the mix, now didn't it?
Still, he'd been trained better by his sensei, and he took a deep breath, straightening his back and nodding once. "I am. There was an emergency that took longer than expected to disentangle from. I'm here now though, and I apologize for your wait."
no subject
"Perhaps we ought to inform you we'd be here two hours prior to the expected meeting time in the hopes that you might scrape in at least within fifteen minutes past the hour." But he does step aside, regardless, arms crossed inside his sleeves. "Hm, we can't talk here."

He was pretty sure calling Obito rude names was not going to get him any good jobs. It might get him a free knot on the head, but Izumo wasn't into collecting those.

Luckily, some people were in charge of schedules. A lowly secretary was not the best of substitute, but Izumo was good enough to carry messages of condolences. He held out a scroll with a shrug. "You're rescheduled, you're welcome, tomorrow around ten in the morning. Think you can hold off having any other schedule emergencies until then?"
This last was slyly teasing, not sarcastic or grumpy, and Izumo's smile was back, albeit as a little smug smirk. He liked Obito well enough, which was good seeing as how he worked with the man, and he couldn't help but tease those he liked.

Yay.
"I need someone to play bouncer, the people I have doing it now let anyone in to rant at me."

Adela was helping out with paperwork around the office when she saw him darting out the window, sighing heavily before shaking her head. Whatever he was doing, he had a horrible habit of doing it. It was like he took it upon himself to help the entire village single-handedly... It was admirable, but dumb. It'd probably be good for him if he was just a little lazier.
A stack of paperwork was set on his desk when she saw him finally returning from his meeting, along with a cup of tea before she made to leave, "There you go, Hokage-Sama."
Probably one of the few people she ever used honorifics for...

"What the hell were you running out for anyway?" She didn't answer him, instead glancing at him expectantly and waiting for an explanation. She had a little time to hear that.

I needed to see how this would work
Apparently, she wore a sign that read: Hokage-sama’s student, please use me as a messenger. She nodded and promised to relay the message. And to think she had only come to deliver progress updates and shares Naruto’s desire for another mission. “Sensei.” She greeted after a moment to allow her teacher to collect himself.
Eeeexcellent
