Current status: Masa has been up to his usual mischief, which is to say he's been acting ostentatiously for Personal Reasons and pushing himself seriously behind the scenes where not too many people would have ready access as he has Future Plans to go about achieving. He's presenting as usual -- acting like a lazy, attention-seeking troublemaker, ticking off his subtlety preferring clan and some Konoha citizens what an heir, roping Ami into epic genin-level trouble, presumably giving Shisui a headache, eating manju and soba in gross amounts, and presumably bugging his hokage and former babysitter Obito indirectly by way of toilet paper rioting and his buddy, Sasuke, more directly, who he thinks is the shizzle. Meanwhile, his spider partner Mi-chan chills in his hood and chirrups unintelligibly to non-Shizuoka.
Any current or future plans: I've got some far flung things, but nothing too set in stone for the present. I want to develop his established relationships and possibly establish more with him through backstory, but I want to develop new ones with people all over in the present and see where those go! Masa's a complex brat underneath a 'why' exterior and it will take all character types to really bring his full character to light. That said, expect things to start getting rougher as we approach puberty.
Recent open threads or posts: Masanori vandalizes the public restrooms of Konoha and steals all the toilet paper & Ami and Masanori teepee Konoha for justice!
Desired CR: Positive and negative would be great! People to harmlessly crush on as puberty inches closer would be A+++. If you want to go the rival or enemy route, know it's got the opportunity to intensify as he gets older.

Current status: Training, training, and more training as she's always seeking to become stronger and very set on making jounin this year. Working on her tanuki puppets and taking missions to climb the shinobi ladder. Having social encounters that don't end in passing with Gaara and Temari, which is seeing her realize them more and more as people instead of fellow tools, and you know, actually spend time with them. Mentally, she's continuing to develop questions about tools, people, Suna, other villages, and the world that stir her curiosity and confuse her and she's not sure who to really put them to. She's a ticking time bomb waiting to go off for having been stuck in a nasty emotional cycle since early childhood for Reasons, but she's leaning slightly more middle-ish than danger zone at the moment. Slightly. Strength and power are the keys to acknowledgment and affirmation and bijuu are amazing.
Any current or future plans: The big thing for Kazue right now is getting her to connect to people through consistent socialization, which is usually required for her to humanize over regularly objectifying an individual, so she can hopefully develop into more positive, less socially inhibiting views or, you know, snap, crash, and burn like a beautiful nightmare. On the professional level, she does okay and can be a capable leader depending. Outside of that, all bets are off. She tends to be neglectful of relationships due to her priorities and views being out of whack and can be a total fish out of water when faced with social situations due to a lack of social experience, all of which are things that need fixing and will take time to do so. Speaking of water, I'd love for her to pick up a teacher in water release since it's her true primary and she's mostly been free-styling it in a desert environment, which has done loads for her chakra levels. I'd also like to see her eventually resolve her identities as a proud independent Suna nin and an Uzumaki in the future as well as her whole people-tool issue and broaden her horizons. Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions!
Recent open threads or posts: Nothing at the moment, but I expect to deliver soon! If you want something, ask! I'd be happy to oblige! I'm just wary about throwing up something open with the event in full swing without at least one solid taker.
Desired CR: Friends and positive CR are big on my list for her right now! All the cousins because this girl needs to experience extended family and finally express her curiosity about her clan and hopefully accept that part of herself! Enemies could be fun, but be forewarned that she's intense and a grudger with a good memory. Rivals could be really fun, too, and hopefully a tad positive? She needs patient people in general who are A-okay with either chasing her down or blocking her exits early in the relationship. She thrives with people who push and challenge her. Someone app. her mom.

real talk, we should have them gather some cr!!! kankuro has every reason to be buds with her given they both have puppet affection in common.. but funnily enough he also has water release? we could discuss something there.
he does a lot of duties in the puppet corps so she might have heard of him/met him on some occasion, but-- as for his personality, he has a lot of his father's qualities in that he's definitely the kind to push and challenge. he likes finding peoples talents and weaknesses and bolstering them accordingly.

(other than that, i also have kiba and kakashi. who are...... marginally less grumpy and hard at it than kankuro is, but would take a little more effort to gain CR. having said that, im ok if you want cr with them too!!)

Current status: She arrived in Konoha on the 9th after nearly three weeks of travelling from Ice Country to Fire. Currently she's getting settled in and adjusting to life in a large village much less blizzardy than her old home.
Any current or future plans: She needs friends closer to her own age, and also people who'll help her work through her MY ENTIRE CLAN IS DEEEEAD grief that she's repressing like she really belongs in Naruto. I think she's going to be trained by various people??? Kisame maybe??? Yamato definitely?? Her primary elemental release is water so please train her to make little snowmen bunshion.

CURRENT STATUS:

Kankuro has been up to practically nothing recently-- though as of late, Rasa has been trying to build up Kankuro's people skills (because the boy is intelligent as all hell, but is kind of secluded in his village) so daddy is sending him on various outings/missions/whatever to various villages/places/holes in the ground both to make himself known as Rasa's son, but to also encourage trust and understanding in him as a figure, since there's a possibility that one day he might eventually be wearing the big stupid hat.
As for his emotional situation, Kankuro has grown up a lot in recent years due to his mentors beating him over the head for being a brat. Chiyo doesn't want to see another Sasori, Baki doesn't want to see another Rasa, etc etc. Kankuro is still kind of grumpy, but his village bias is a little less vibrant and he's a lot more approachable now, actually taking an active interest in being useful to the alliance and... being a brother to his siblings instead of being "that guy who sits in his puppet cave and has no friends".

CURRENT/FUTURE PLANS:

As aforementioned, Kankuro is currently being groomed for Kazekage, but the possibility of that coming to fruition is years away at this point, so currently I'm just looking for him to gather a friend-base, stop being so antisocial, and get a little more involved in village matters. I also want him to eventually stop shadowing his dad and carve his own path, but that's more internalised for him via the positive influences friends-that-arent-puppets will bring him.

Current status: Lee is currently same as he is in manga, always uber training mode and generally being a cute, genki baby. He's going to be body swapping with Neji starting... today! Lee also recently uncovered some information about the resistance movement so anyone attached to that subplot might find his brain worth picking!

Any current or future plans: There are two big important things going to be happening to Lee in the future...
---In the not so distant future (as in, within the next few months), Lee is going to be pushing himself even harder. Finding out that Neji is in ANBU means that to his understanding his rival is now two steps ahead of him while he's been stuck in a mid-rank position. He won't like that and so he's going to get really reckless on missions and do his best to push himself beyond his limits. In other words, he's going to grow disillusioned with his chunin rank and strive to move up the tier.
---In the more distant future (as in, over the next few years), Lee is going to be slowly opening up about his budding sexuality. Greatly influenced by the open nature of Gai-sensei as well as his relationship, Lee will be seeking to date several people of all genders and walks of life. Some day he will eventually come out and say that he is all about open relationships with several people, and he will not judge anyone who disagrees with his lifestyle or wishes to cease their relationship with him. Here's to hoping he ends up with a wide network of lovers between all the different villages. ;3b

Recent open threads or posts: I have not yet posted Lee in an open post, I AM TRASH! OTZ But he's been busy with missions and team related stuff so far, so hopefully I can remedy that sometime next month.

Current status: Nori is a travelling merchant/mercenary from Earth Country, and he's been very concerned about the tense borders and inability to trade smuggle cross country like he used to. His contacts are starting to close up and he's working to get a better grasp of the situation as he slowly meanders his way up to Lightning Country.. Having fought in the Third War, his concerns are very well founded and he'd diffuse the situation where possible.
Any current or future plans: Nori had a body swap with Itachi, but he's pretty much open now.
Recent open threads or posts: Wandering Konoha in late Feb! And I might put something up with him as Itachi idk
Desired CR: Nori needs all the CR. He's quite the busybody and will make the easy acquaintance of most people... assuming they either keep out his immediate reach or don't care about their personal possessions. Shinobi types, civilian types, positive and negative CR alike, he's open to all of it. He's kind of a bad influence for children.

Current status: Ami is being her normal prickly little self, but also getting coerced into childish shenanigans by her not-so-terrible-after-all teammate, Masa. The backdrop of this all is her continuing correspondence with Sephiroth, of course, but she's more than due for some more social awkwardness. She has also (is currently?) had to deal with being the God of Ame for a while, and is internally freaking out over that.
Any current or future plans:None so far, except for a mission where she has to go undercover with her teen and debut as a Child Idol (so feel free to become a fan whenever that happens and then be bitterly disappointed when she bows out of the limelight), and the far off future when she is sixteen/seventeen.
Recent open threads or posts: The most recent is her hospital log, but I'll have another up soon.
Desired CR: ANYTHING. Ami needs more friends, now that her defense are beginning to inch down after years and years of not trusting her peers.

Current status: Just returned from a month and a half long trip to Ame after a busy January, so. She's had a busy year. Stuck in Konoha this month, either due to an injury or some security procedure because she's just spent over a month in another ninja village.
Any current or future plans: I'd like to see her get a team to look after, though she'd strongly object to having one yet. I'd love to have her get more opportunities to use her genjutsu to its fullest potential instead of just sprinkling it into things, or to use her kenjutsu, since she has a similar level of skill in kenjutsu as she did with taijutsu in canon. Specifically, I want to see her on a mission where she protects those assigned to her, but at her own personal injury...when getting injured wasn't really necessary. Protective leader + reckless disregard for her own personal safety = consequences. Also, it'd be fun to have her pretend to be a civilian/flex her seductive skills on missions more.
Recent open threads or posts: Just her Ame one, I haven't posted a new one for her yet this month.
Desired CR: Girl needs friends. Particularly ones who can see past her masks, whether through personal experience with her or by finding things out about her that most wouldn't. IDK, man. She just needs more friends, and people who see her as worthwhile. A partner in crime or a rival would be an excellent thing too, actually. She'd do well with a rival.
Undesired CR: It's not undesired, specifically, but anyone who tried to pursue a romance with her would find it really hard to do. She is a senpai that will never notice you unless you come right out and say it, and then she will be confused.

Current status: Dating the Hokage and his Rival, trying to make himself useful in some way since his students are flying and he's got an empty nest. He's been poking Kushina about being someone with a Hokage and he doesn't quite know where he's going with that. He was Iruka for the bodyswap.

Any current or future plans: I'm looking for ideas. I've gotten into a long skype chat about Gai's lack of direction, and I hope to fix it, or bounce him around until it fixes itself, I'm not sure. Tenny suggested teaching or physical therapist. I'm still open to ideas. He's feeling a little boring. He also intends at some point to propose to Obito, but will likely ask Rin and Minato for permission first, and run it by his own cute students (I had to shorten my list...so he will probably not ask Obito's students for permission or any of the other million people Obito is close to; he has already asked Kakashi).

Recent open threads or posts: I don't generally do open threads because my schedule can't handle a ton of threads, but if there's something someone wants opened up (bodyswap, holiday, etc in the future) let me know here/plurk/skype.

Desired CR: I'm interested in friend or enemy CR, but Gai could definitely use more friends, more people than just his boyfriends to pal around with! He doesn't really have that, and when your friends are also your boyfriends, it's limiting. I'd love something deep, but I don't know what. I dislike writing fights and so will be immensely slow at it; in general, I'd prefer to handwave fights or summarize them, but I am totally cool with making him someone's sparring partner (just so I don't have to write fights every time we want them to interact T_T). Gai is also available for hugs and general support talks. He ships his students with many people. Please let me ship you.

Undesired CR: Well, I don't want to kill him. So please don't. I'd prefer to not force him to be useless. I'd like fewer failed missions for him (especially where Obito's students are involved). He's taken, not that he was fighting love-interests off with a stick, so no one else is getting into his spandex. Sorry. Everyone is so disappointed, I know. </3

Current status: Bitter and disillusioned to the extreme, but Kisame has recently found a friend potential ally with similar views in Sephiroth, and has met several interesting Konoha-nin that are pushing him to the breaking point in accepting Kiri's current state of affairs. He wants truth and change. Otherwise, he is just in a holding pattern. Very shortly he'll be involved in a bodyswitch and that will be all kinds of interesting.
Any current or future plans: ICly he'd like to visit Konoha and have all those spars he's promised people. OOCly I want to get him out to meet new people and be exposed to different points of view. Also, possible political upheaval.

Desired CR: everything. I want rivals. I want enemies. I want people who are willing to claw and fight and break past his walls into friendship. I want him to find out he's not as bad a teacher as he thinks he is, so students!

Kakashi has recently been body-swapped with Hotohori, the Daimyo of Noodle for a few days at the start of March. When he got back to Konoha he found a tiny snow baby he rescued on his doorstep. He was also given the cutest dog ever as a gift and is continually carrying her around the village. So many fluffy things in his life lately. COME BE ANOTHER. OR POTENTIALLY RUIN HIS GOOD TIME. (Seriously, things have been way too good for him recently.)

CURRENT/FUTURE PLANS:

Kakashi is potentially getting a team of genin at the end of the month? YEAH TEAM KONOHAMARU. And he also might be moving house (FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE HE WAS NINE YEARS OLD) pretty soon. Other than that, he's pretty much just cruisin'.

HE HASNT HAD AN OPEN FOR SO LONG... pain. If you want anything with him, please let me know. I'm always willing to throw him into random trips/missions for the sake of CR.

Kiba has....not got all that much going on. He's been getting close to Adela, and is suffering from being in the shadow of his almost jounin team mates, but that's about it. 8^| He definitely needs more PLOT THINGS to happen to him.

CURRENT/FUTURE PLANS:

Not many??? Kiba is very much a live-in-the-moment guy, so tomorrow is a mystery to him-- As a mun, that's incredibly frustrating because thinking of his goals is difficult, and therefore making plans for said goals is also difficult. Howwwwwwever, as I mentioned before, he's getting closer to Adela and might have some feelings toward her that he's sitting on because he's a weenie.

RECENT THREADS/POSTS:

His last open was like... When I apped him. I am the worst. I'm thinking of writing him another open sometime soon, though.

DESIRED CR:

KIBA NEEDS FRIENDS. Kiba is the kind of guy who will assume he's friends with you even if you talked once for five incredibly awkward minutes. He has a personality and presence that makes it incredibly easy for him to know pretty much everyone, but he rarely gets any closer than that. So I'd love for him to have more people to hang out with/annoy with how dumb he is.
Equally, I'd love to write him fighting or being angry etc at someone, so rivals and sparring partners and antagonisers are welcome (though you'll have to compete with Kiba's gross rivalry with Shino).

UNDESIRED CR:

Making Kiba sad hurts me because he's really hard to upset, so... I kind of warn you that it's hard and ask you not to do it but some morbid part of me actually kind of wants to see it....so....yes...

Current status: Training, training, and more training. Tenten's aiming very hard to becoming a Jounin at some point in the near future, and just overall improving herself. She's been in-village for the past month or so because her mun was naughty and didn't make CR in January, and as of yesterday is currently involved in a Body Swap with Sephiroth and Kisame. That will last for the full week and involve another swap among the three before the week ends. Also, she very recently had a birthday, yay!
Any current or future plans: I am happy to say that there are a few plans in the works for her, and a spiderweb of events to set up for these future things. As I said, she is involved in a Body Swap as of yesterday with two very powerful shinobi. And that will ultimately lay the foundation for a number of things in the future. That being said, these are gonna be long in the works, and there's no reason not to add to the clusterfuck along the way~ SO JUST COME GIVE ME YOUR LOVE!

Desired CR: Mostly positives, please! Tenten's an orphan, so she's always looking for comrades and especially friends to feed into her pseudo-family! Uh, she's not exactly the type of girl to go searching for romantic relationships, the two I have planned for her just kinda fell into her lap. But she might fail miserably be open to them if a guy asked her out. Not exactly seeking out enemies as much as rivals, but I can dig that too if it's a good plot. It's just that Team Gai is very competitive, so it makes more sense to have someone around who could help motivate her to improve... by attacking her pride. 8D;
Undesired CR: Not all that into death and maiming, so if we can just avoid that... I'm okay with bringing her very CLOSE to death, though. And I am so into giving her scars.

Current status: After spending the holiday in Konoha and finishing up with an eventful mission with Sasuke to Bears, Gaara was back in Suna, with all of its attendant worsening of his mood and withdrawing into training and avoiding 99.99% of his fellow villagers. Then the full moon happened, so he exiled himself to North Suna for a few days-- and then the bodyswap happened and he spent three days as Kushina Uzumaki. HE'S DOING GREAT (no)
Any current or future plans: I really need to resolve what happened during the bodyswap before I launch him into anything else but as always I'm open to ideas.
Recent open threads or posts: February in Konoha as himself or March 6th in Kushina's body. Both open!
Desired CR: He has rivals but none that are really jinchuuriki level sorry sasuke. He has a lot of positive CR but I'd always welcome more; conversely he doesn't have enough negative CR for someone who's only just recovering from being a hate-filled brat with the worst life ever. Challenge him, challenge his outlook on life, challenge Shukaku who knows.

Canon: Ninja Jesus Saved My little brother.
Current status: Chilling in Suna, mostly. She’s pretty happy right now, she’s got a good start of something with Neji, and she’s running the usual interference for Gaara with their Father and teasing her brothers (Kankuro). Keeping a close watch on the puppeteer that seems fascinated with her brother.
Any current or future plans: I don’t have any solid plans exactly. Lots of backdating happened last month and some more is happening this month. I want to shake things up for her though; she’s sort of too comfortable right now. SOMEONE POISON KANKURO AND MAKE HER FREAK OUT PLEASE. I mean wait what no she loves you Kanks.

I’m hoping for a sandsib mission in the future, because I need them in my life always.

Desired CR: She needs to branch out some. Follow-up with some CR threads that were started in events and the like. I’m looking forward to the ridiculous antagonism between her and Tenten when they realize who the other is.

Current status: Presently swapped with Adela until the 14th, and possibly hiding out at Neji’s until she and Adela swap back? It was mentioned I don’t remember if it was agreed on.

BEYOND THAT….

Mostly Hinata is just enjoying her freedom, she’s almost three months free of her engagement and she’s savoring that. And one could sort of say it has put some things in perspective for her when it comes to a certain blond. But that’s neither here nor there without him. Anyway, she’s been working on finishing the Twin Lion Fists and it is feeling like she’ll have that pretty much on lock by early April. She needs to find a teacher for Water Release since she’s taught herself a few simple things, but she’d like to learn more where possible. And she wants to get out of the village more, though she fully expects the clan to keep her locked in Konoha with about the same frequency as pre-engagement.
Any current or future plans: Current plans sum up with her finishing the Twin Lion Fists and showing her pair of Uchiha, Neji, and maybe the clan. And get her out more; she really wants to dive back into missions after probably taking nothing more than a D-Rank or two around the village prior to the Great Pee Mission at the end of January.

And somewhere down the line I want her to feel comfortable enough and be ready enough to test for jounin. She’s comfortable as a chunin, but she wants to progress too…just at her own pace.

Canon: Sasuke I love you~
Current status: Well Karin just finished her swap with Juugo on the 10th if they went the full 5 days.

Otherwise, Karin has been working with her ninken and loitering around Uzushio. She’ll actually be fairly glad to be home at present now that she’s not in a giant rage monster body anymore. She’s sort of leaning toward seeing if she can come visit Ame again, check on the family over that way.
Any current or future plans:
Current and immediate plans: Missions, annoying Sasuke, writing her cousin and his son. Maybe visit. Poke at Peter? Idk see if he’s not swapped with anyone? Figuring out that she’s basically allergic to shinobi with water affinity, befriending Kabuto in the process.

Future plans: Jounin promotion, she wants that, or even just the Toketsubu Jounin promotion because of medic jutsu abilities. She’s pretty good at the thing and will only get better. I’m thinking over the course of the year the hospital staff in Uzu will start giving her more responsibility since she’d been their gopher for a few years now.

Way Long term: Convincing Peter to move to Uzushio and run the hospital…maybe take over as the leader, but honestly she thinks the village would need to be really desperate to give her that responsibility, the hospital is her element.
Recent open threads or posts: She's never had an open post actually.
Desired CR: Water natured shinobi to participate in her experiment. Basically, you get to make Karin faint a lot and/or feel really uncomfortable. More negative CR, she gets on pretty well with most which is surprising, and I sort of want her to have more people she wants to punch in the teeth on the regular. Sasuke is fab but I want more of that.
Undesired CR: I still don’t get this category.

Clearly, these cousins need to meet somehow, someway. I am not sure how at the moment as Kaz is being a mature adult shinobi and grudging her mom for a past dumb, which has her not visiting Uzu even though she probably really wants to, so any meetings'd have to be outside of Uzu if you're game, I think!

Current status: Stressed. Bro has not liked this year, between Sasuke's clean sweep, Yamato's meltdown, and the body swaps he's just... frustrated he can't fix anything ever lately. Upside, he's really happy with how things are going with Gai!
Any current or future plans: Very few actually, outside him sending people on missions. Well, and Gai's eventual proposal, though when that's due to happen I have no idea. I've heard murmurs of other things but nothing has been set down as definite.
Recent open threads or posts: Sadly no, but I would love an opportunity to have him spam the hell out of the scroll network again sometime I think.
Desired CR: Backstory, more interaction with the people he knows. More time with his team (EITHER OF THEM) especially, he's been slacking there

Current status: Nothing too weird, and he's graduating his current class (and it's HUGE) this month at the end of the month. Though he is just tailing off his body swap situation.
Any current or future plans: Graduate his current class, get them jounin sensei without a huge fail rate, and take some missions. This is all he's got planned and I have absolutely nothing (body swap aside) going on with him.
Recent open threads or posts: I should probably put up something for him in Gai's body if anyone has interest.
Desired CR: More of anything please. He has the tendency to stick to his normal habits and that means it's easier for people to come to him instead of vise versa in a lot of cases.
